The Light can help you. It heals your wounds, brings people back from the dead, and makes you feel good inside. I strongly encourage everyone to follow the Light. It is a great thing to have. It will change your life tremendously in a positive manner as you go about your life on Azeroth.

We can’t just go around forcing people to follow the Light, guys.
If we force them to follow the light, they never truly embrace it, and they either betray us, or the become corrupt and then betray us, or they end up shattering our wind chimes and leaving a mess everywhere.
You cannot fully accept something unless you have the ability to reject it. A lesson Xe’ra never learned, and the reason why Turalyon stayed his hand once Her influence was gone.
It is also critically important that we not spill the blood of those who refuse the Light. Doing so undermines the offer of the Light itself.
That’s why we use Flame.

But not without being formally introduced. 
Considering the Light only gives us sub-par tanks and DPS with middling healers, seems like it would be a downgrade.
