2pac-Hit em up plays as those poor clothies try to run from kitty and auto shot to no avail. Hunters can use any music we want to. All music is hunter music if we so choose it be.
That banned list? Yea idc. None of those people are relevant.
I’ve always found hardcore rap to be an undead rogue/warlock kinda thing. Orc Warriors and metal go better together imo. I’m probably gonna play with the metal covers for Monster Hunter themes.
I spent an inordinate amount of time on this. The songs span a long period of time, from the 70s to 2017, because, well, I’m old. If I missed a class, uh, I’ll edit later. I guess.
Hunter: “Goa”, 808 State
This is an old-school electronic track from the days of the first raves. For me, it brings to mind periods of running/kiting with sudden stops/traps, and the overall feel is set up to make you want to move. Mage: “Eple”, Röyksopp
This one just makes me think of magic, whether frost or fire or even arcane, and watching scenes of a skilled mage kiting, nova’ing, blinking and blowing up opponents. Warrior: “Lust For Life”, Iggy Pop
Sung by a guy who used to roll around naked (or nearly so) on broken glass on stage, which should be enough said, I hope. Rogue: “A Growing Boy Needs His Lunch”, Dead Kennedys
Forget all that nu-metal junk, these guitars are relentless and Jello Biafra would be a rogue if he played WoW. Paladin: “The Light Pours Out of Me”, Magazine
This post-punk “oldie” from the late 70s is perfect for a paladin from the pulsating beat to the searing guitars to the lyrics, even. Warlock: “They’ll No More Suffer From Hunger”, Maserati
Great beat, amazing guitars and effects that slowly build up into multiple melodic paths, much like a warlock juggles dots and cc’s everything else. Gets pretty heavy as the track progresses. (I love this band.) Druid: “The National Anthem”, Radiohead
Again I am picking this one based on pure feel. Druids in vanilla PVP did a lot of stealthing and running and IMO, this is perfect for that. Feels like danger and sprinting and trying not to get caught. Even the sparse lyrics fit. Priest: “Horizons” Bassnectar & Dorfex Bos
I think this could go for either shadow or heals. Priest is the one that took me the longest to figure a track for.
For an Undead Shadow Priest or Warlock who is looking for some thematically dark electronic music, may I suggest:
H.EXE - Dreadful Visions Alien Vampires - You’ll All Die Alien Vampires - See You in Hell Hocico - In the Name of Violence Ater Mors - Accion Necromorphosis Amduscia - Schizo Dance Centhron - Berserk Reactor7x - Disorder (v20.16 Harsh Edition) C-Lekktor - Sick of You God Module - Victims Among Friends (Midian Dite remix)
