Playing WoW on a new computer?

I’m going to be getting a new computer pretty soon. I have alot of add-ons that are configured in a specific way on my account right now, such as Bartender settings that took alot of adjusting to get right.

I’ve heard there’s a way to transfer your WoW folders to a different hard drive/computer, but I was wondering if my exact addon settings would be the same after the switch. Would the addons remain unchanged or would I have to start over from scratch? Such as moving bartender bars, changing the sizes of my damage meter windows, etc

Just copy your whole WoW folder over.

You can just copy your whole wow directory as Theodas suggested.
If you want to do a new install you can copy your addons only by copying your _retail_\interface\Addons folder.
The settings are stored in _retail_\WTF\Account. I keep a backup of that directory just incase things go wrong.
