Pouting twinks are now:

A) Abusing an exploit that allows them to keep their experience off while in experience-on battlegrounds

B) Queueing with experience on but striving for tie games to prevent experience gain, or just deserting before experience gain would occur

Or

C) Repeatedly leveling up new characters, passing the same enchanted heirlooms between them (a.k.a. not twinking)

Does that about sum it up?

I think having looms means you have looms. BiS or not.
The word twink keeps changing meaning depending on who uses it. Remember the worgan who called everyone a twink because they simply enchanted something?

Back before twinking was getting BiS items on a low lvl character to BG mostly in one bracket. EXP was shut off so they could stay there.

I think gear is gear and a label was made to segregate people who worked for gear by people who didn’t want to.

Do you think someone who happens to have a Blade of Eternal Darkness jumping into a BG is a twink?

It was saying what the term was when it was embraced by the community as well as a distaste for a label thrown around as disrespect.
I’m not here to argue with you just to point some things out.

If looms was not twinking why remove XPoff? A lot of BiS was just heirlooms and getting your stuff enchanted.

Indeed, passing enchanted heirlooms and getting basic enchanted dungeon gear for throwaway twinks is twinking, they may not be BiS but they certainly have an advantage, most twinks were not even BiS or near invincible they just had an advantage, but to twink you didn’t have to be, you just needed an advantage, unique gear, or BiS. Later levels might require gems, but those last for quite a few brackets and only generally require marks of honor. Same for the gear, only requiring some gold or marks of honor.

Looms, my friend. I’m speaking with Juga. We are talking about looms on twinks. The list is mail items (and accessories), it assumes you are smart enough to know what your spec is to gear for it out of those items.

Basically an outdated list that twinks used to aim for but now are just using throwaway gear ie looms, then reroll once they reach a certain point.
