It’s going pretty well. 19s are popping every day. I’ve had more fun and competitive games in the last two weeks than the two expansions of merged brackets. XP off BGs were my favorite way to play the game, and it’s been great having them back.

Seems like leveling BGs are still a dumpster fire. Nothing new, they have been for years. Twinks weren’t the reason they were bad, but they definitely didn’t make things better. I’m just glad it’s not my problem anymore.

Some actual notice or patch notes would’ve been nice. The numbers were there to sustain more brackets, but the surprise undocumented change definitely put a damper on things. Putting plans in place to build momentum and keep games popping would’ve gone a long way.

Huge shoutout to 59s playing daily wargames. That bracket thriving after the separation is all the evidence you need that plenty of people played twinks for the “right reasons”. 59s had probably the biggest gear gap between twinks and levelers and very few people with old-school twinks. They had almost no activity in the years of separate brackets. The fact that they’re the one higher level bracket keeping things going after the split is a huge surprise, and all the people making it happen deserve a ton of credit.

I wanted to denote actually that while 29s may very well be struggling, 20s for twinks are now one of the most popular due to Veterans being in the same queue as xpon, likely rivaling and even surpassing 19s cause no rerolls are required. If any twinks stick around through the years it will likely come down to 19s and 20s and perhaps that new/old reroll culture unless Blizzard does anything to Veterans like stuffing them into the xpoff queue.

Nope, we run an all 110 Heroic ABT on Fridays. Your four 300 gear slots from questing, plus 2 legion legendary, slots, and the rest from raiding is the optimal gear build.

Gimme a break, your’re going to the starter grounds in the best gear possible and whining about teammates in white gear while one-shotting new toons in white gear.

You want a good fight? Go play RBG’s and arena but I gather you’d rather do the above.

That’s the concept that the negative population of those who engage in that playstyle love to ignore. Or some of the facetious people will use the comment that it’s available to everyone, knowing full and well that available and feasible are not the same thing.

Think we can delete this thread now, the twinks destroying in BGs is no more. No need seeing this on front page all the way to next xpac beating on a dead horse.

I disagree, now it’s just people like me at xX level with glowing weapons farming HKs everywhere.

But I’ve only personally done 20-30 BGs since the change, I’m sure you’ve got some solid numbers to back up your claims :+1:
