“sometimes”…Demo locks in solo shuffle are so faceroll they don’t even fear at 2k MMR
You still need to actually position and not just faceroll your keyboard at a target
I never complained it was tough to stop other classes damage. I’m finding Hunter fun with rotating roots, steel trap, concuss slows, and binding shot to kite out melee right now. No where did I say I’m having issues kiting in solo shuffle.

You need to position to do anything in this game, its just easiest to do on your spec.

I mean you can say what you want about BM but 99% of classes/specs in WoW now are face-roll, one class being more complex than another is moot when it comes to rotation for PvEing down a target. The face-roll comes in when a melee ignores his healers positioning to run drooling full force into a ranged class and get exploded behind a pillar. But yea Demo is basically a face-roll caster now. I find them worse since they actually don’t take damage and don’t need to worry much about positioning with infinite soul leech absorbs and 500k Pact shields.

i’ve playad with and against very good hunters, MM has 100-0% potential, survival spearhead build definitely needs durability though, BM seems ok. Actually i rather target DH than hunters.
The “Right Now” should be it has always never been balanced and blizzard never did get it right because pvp anything came later the game is a pve game with some kind of pvp in it that never was ever balanced. It will never be balanced ever. The game could be 50 years old and pvp will still never be a balanced game. You can mark my words that I know the devs will never get it fixed.
Yea I figured as much and the meta in solo shuffle could be different from that in rated 3’s. I plan on doing solo shuffle more than anything so I should play the classes that excel in it
When I see a hunter on my team in solo shuffle, I get kinda excited because maybe the enemy will focus the hunter all game instead of me (shaman).
Dude, hunter is a 2 button macro class and it hits like a TRAIN! If it had anymore defensives it would be overpowered. Getting hit with rapid fire for 150k is the norm and killshot hits=death i get kited in arena as an experienced arms and fury warr

Remember when hunters were the gods of PVP and could 1 v 2, Pepperidge Farm remembers, worst class in the game IMO. I don’t think they’ve felt fun since WoD.
i agree. hunters are always number 1 target becuase they take so much damage and dont have many defensives or dmg mitigation
I think you meant to specify MM in this reply. As a survival hunter I’m having a hard time living in solo shuffle so much that when i reached 1898 i found it very difficult to survive the Fury/DH/WW blender simulator that i fell to 1766 and decided to just wrap it up and reroll warrior for solo shuffle. I love survival but the lack of dmg mitigation and poor defensives (compared to the rest) is just bad
Loving spearhead but it’s more punishing than rewarding against cleaves because you just die
yea survival needs either more pressure or more sustain but idk how reliable blizzard is going to be on delivering so maybe reroll is the best option

i’ve been asking for hunter defensives for a decade, the “experienced” players here in the arena session always said hunters is about kiting therefore they don’t need defensives
