Classic wasn’t all too bad until they started shovelling out this garbage that soaked up all their time/support and drew people away from the hot mess they left behind. Hopefully they at least support your version of the game in the future, best of luck to you all.

It’s vice versa actually, classic cata soaked resources from SOD, as they had put a phase on hold to deal with cata’s launch. Cata is just hot garbage, that’s why no one plays it, it has nothing to do with SOD.

There is nothing to do in Cata besides raidlog but I guess you could say the same about SoD.

They’ve at least looked at your pvp since released.
Now granted that AB thing is an odd bug. And morbidly funny to me, I can’t lie and not say it made me grin a bit
But…they have tried something.
Our pvp dies slowly as it bleeds out. Besides giving alliance their gimme 3 commendations and 400 to 500 honor I don’t why TB exists.
I mean they could just every 3 hours mail this to every alliance player. And horde would not complain.
as they’d get the loss honor mailed too. Without having to be gy farmed for 15 minutes. Attack or Defence sucks for them. Defence is at least 2 minutes. But I usually get attack. 15 minutes of gy camped.
It’s not my fault the classic wow devs are extremely bad at class design/balance

TB has always been pretty mid, even when it was full.
Ehhhh… we have one of the worst iterations of PvP gearing in WoW’s existence, perhaps the worst because they’re directly putting another phase time gate on the weapons we can acquire, while the gear itself is lackluster.
The entire concept of time gating sod was an enormous problem. Even beyond ranking

What resources? They’ve barely done any work on Cata.
- Guards still randomly kill you when you take the portal from SW/Org to Hyjal.
- The auction house doesn’t have a relics category, it has the non-existent totems/idols/librams from WotLK.
- Not a single word about the “Streamlined Auction House” that is still being advertised on Blizzard’s WoW Classic page.
- Guild finder is still not implemented.
- Spell overlays still missing (a graphic should come up when your spells proc).
SoD has gotten two phase updates since Cata launched, meanwhile Cata is still on phase 1.5 and still has a larger raiding population than SoD (121k after 17 weeeks vs 74k).

It’s not my fault the SoD devs ended up creating something truly awful and unfun.
Meanwhile comparing cata to retail, retail is probably better.
Era is largely not worth it if you’re not already full bis
Therefore retail is probably the best wow you can play atm
Especially if you like to pvp.

As I said, it took resources from SoD during the launch. The issues you list sound pretty superficial. As a matter of fact, I think the agro guards when porting might effect SoD too lol.
Why are you mad that a game with preupdates already created are not being pushed out? That has nothing to do with SoD. SoD is them working to develop a different version of the game, cata is them rereleasing a game that’s already made.

What are you going to play when cata ends? Big question mark if they’ll pull the trigger on MoP or not.
Yup and a fair amount of us quit playing during Cataclysm so its a natural stopping point. SoD didn’t kill classic it just ran its course.

My question is because I’m curious where someone would go as a sod main who hates vanilla and also retail, which I assume is you as well hence your defensive action - as if my question was meant to be an attack anyways (you wouldn’t have thought that if you knew your answer)
