Playing on Moon Guard NA from EU

I’m currently on EU and thinking of moving over to NA for the biggest RP community. But, I’m 6 hours ahead of server time, which is my only barrier.

Is there anyone that plays from EU who finds it easy to work around/ is there much going on that isn’t too into the evening server time?

Hi. Fellow EU dweller here.

Moon Guard is more populated than Argent Dawn is at peak EU hours. The only issues can be attending guild events / RP at depending on your perspective very late at night or very early in the morning.

Hi. I’m an Argent Dawner in England and have an NA account too. I made a trail account one boxing day, to just have a look about, and a few days later I was subbed and enjoying levelling up and collecting all brand new achievements [Got My Mind On My Money. Loot 100g] Get in there!!!

It’s always busy whatever time I log on! WRA is a lot more quiet and not helped by the fact the time is even further back in the small hours!

The ping is hardly noticeable if that matters… about 150ms.

I’m a NA resident but my primary play time is middle of the day, which would be evenings for EU time. I have found multiple RP contacts at this time for consistent roleplay, so I am confident you’ll be able to as well.

So, what I would recommend, train yourself to wake up early a f on the weekends. Friday and Saturdays nights are huuuuuge here. 8-9 ish server time.

I have a lot of friends from the EU/OCE that play on MG for numerous reasons. As the others have said, peak hours for MG are a massive net. The only time it really feels slow is very early in the morning for EST (Eastern Standard/East Coast of US) like around 4-5 am and starts to pick back up again around I’d say 1pm EST.

Again as the others have said, timezones really just come into play with guild & community events.

Thankfully… you can almost ALWAYS find RP in Stormwind any time of day or night! <3

While this may not be the best example of activity, usually i see the highest player counts from 7pm to 1am server time. And most of it is in correlation to when people are off work/out of class/relaxing for the evening.

I notice the peak (Outside of weekends) within Stormwind or in other major cities. As right now so many players are fresh on adventures out and about across Dorn and the caverns below so activity is minimal for now.

I’m late to the party but wanted to chime in and share that I also come from AD EU, and live in the EU, but play here on MG. Best decision I’ve ever made.

Leaving all my achievements and transmogs behind was rough but I rebuilt the new account to be even bigger than the original, and the RP has been bountiful and (mostly) drama free.

The catch is that you’ll have to make sacrifices and adapt to the NA schedule. No real good ways around that if you crave a more consistent audience or a guild.

SW is always thriving with casual RP though.
