Sad ,thought you would be more creative than elementary level troll whining about being too bad with dragonriding had more creativity than you.
What a shame.
It got crit nerfed in pve as well.
Listen, I know reading comprehension isnt a priority in the EU, but you need to work on it.
be faster nextime.
I had a dps say, "i guess we have to use cc because this shaman can’t heal. "
what in tarnation
something something MMR explanation
3rd party website RMT money boosters, they are rampant…
Forums are full of players who Enjoy their seasonal boost and will defend it any way they can by saying it does not exist, shaming you, and abusing the mass report function to try and silence anyone who speaks out.
And Forums are full of R1s on alts, 3rd party website employees doing the same.
Yo Kennie remember that DH I told ya bought a boost? He’s glad now lol. Still has a negative w-l. Darkcreature
The moment I hit 1800, and honestly I was just lucky, caught a string of games that were not 0-6 rmt boosters. I was like nope, DONE. Sad because I really like playing RSS on unholy DK, all good, I just play RSS on alts, n alt specs for fun.
I know better then to even try for rating now, its 3 random players vs 3 Gladiators in voice, one shotting and throwing matches.
I love the PvP ilvl system from wod, and the one we have now. Its the way to go!
So kill em and take their rating
Sometimes I do foil their Boost match, and they dont like it! When you enter a RSS match find out witch 2 are the 2400+++ exp players. Then there are 3 choices left one is the Boosted account, thats the toon you wanna make sure loses no matter what.
AND if you know you are in a match that has a RMT 3rd party website team, make sure to click report them, do your part.
this is always a weird complaint because it doesn’t specify whether the complaint is “glads are in every game i play” or “it’s too(unfairly) hard to play at 1600”.
the first one is a good thing! it means you’re playing well, potentially showing off fundamentals you’ve been polishing in rss, and getting to test your skills against good players.
the latter is just incorrect. it is exactly as hard to be 1600 as the quality of player that wins 50% of their games at that rating this week. the factors that determine that quality are participation(near zero) and inflation(zero flat).
the bitter pill here is that whether you are a 1600 player or a 2400 player or a 3k player changes every single season, and if you think that makes rating a terrible metric for determining skill, you are one of my fellow players who has been served terribly by removing percent-based titles.
I can’t believe people think it’s harder to play nothing but RMP or Jungle or RPS for hundreds of games than it is to play with every spec in every comp and succeed at the highest level.
This isn’t one of those issues where multiple opinions and viewpoints are valid. You are just wrong. 3’s is a simpler and more scripted format. Your win condition, your go’s, your defensive trading, your positioning, your X for Y algorithm stays the same every single game as RMP or Jungle or whatever.
It’s far more complex and difficult to play at the highest levels of Shuffle where you need to adapt each round to differing win conditions and go’s and positioning etc because you have to succeed playing every comp into every comp. In 3’s you only have to succeed at playing 1 comp 1 way.
People don’t even play around a real “win condition” with the comps they get in solo shuffle. I’m not kidding when I say that most people just W key PvE damage, with little thought about comp synergy.
Most people don’t chain CC, they don’t peel for teammates, they don’t trade effective cooldowns, and they don’t watch if their healer is in CC or just used a defensive for them.
You’re delusional if you think SS is rocket science lol.
Playing against coordinated teams is harder then playing against sloppy SS crap.
At your rating that’s likely true. 2400 RSS is probably like what 1800 or 2k was in SL 3’s. But at the top end of RSS in the 3k range it’s far more difficult to succeed than it is at the top of 3’s which is 2400 right now? There is a reason why AWC players and Blizzcon winners can sit at the top of the 3’s ladder playing the same comp every day but can’t get within 300 rating of the top of RSS. They are exceptional at one type of play, one comp, one class, one spec etc but aren’t that great at adapting to make every comp work.
The reason I know this is because the top RSS streamers are winning and losing by their ability to adapt to each round and outplay their opponents or be outplayed in small but repeated ways. Whereas in 3’s at the highest level winning usually comes down to cycling a scripted win condition faster than the enemy can cycle scripted defensives. This is also why comp matters so much and why 3’s streamers routinely stop queuing or switch comps and specs based on who is queuing.
EDIT:
My personal experience has been reflective of this too. In pre-patch I was queuing near the top of the RSS ladder on my Priest (healer) and routinely queuing into Rusty and other R1 streamers who are now close to 3k in RSS. Outplaying those guys felt impossible and it was MUCH harder to climb than win in 3’s because being outplayed by the enemy healer didn’t matter when their team had no answer for the 3rd Kidney or whatever our win condition was.
In 3’s I could get outplayed and win because our win condition was scripted and secured largely regardless of my personal play. But in RSS to climb I really had to outplay the enemy healer and that is much more difficult at the highest levels than following a script to win in 3’s.
Apathy? It not being near the end of the season?
Glads hardstuck 1600 lmao
As unhinged as this player might be, this is still absolutely true. A large portion of PvP seems to be “scripted” by the use of multiple 3rd party addons.
You watch people play on youtube and it’s like they’re operating a rocket ship, which makes no sense really because it’s simply not possible for the brain to process the amount of information that multiple addons tend to display, whilst also playing the damn game. What’s the result? People stop playing the game, they pilot their characters and engage in scripted routine standardized behavior and then from that point follow a formula, that formula being whatever the addons dictate. It’s actually disgusting.
Something like trinkets and DR shouldn’t be able to be tracked. If these add-ons were banned, people would start CCing on DR, and that would introduce a lot of unpredictability and therefore force players to react to unexpected new situations (which in turn allows skill to be expressed). As it currently is, the matches always play as expected, granted 1 or 2 contingencies like someone landing a major off DR CC - which these addons permit people to do with unbelievable consistency.
2s/3s is a terribly boring game mode and RSS is infinitely better for the simple reason that despite the stupidly OP add-ons that exist, RSS introduces a certain amount of unpredictability into PvP gameplay - an unpredictability that WoW PvP has been starved for quite some time.
