Playful Vulpin not working

I was trying to get the Dodger pet, and was successful up to the 5th step. Now I’ve been sitting here for 30 mins or so using /pet on the creature (since that’s what every fan site has been saying) and the emote is not working to grant the pet. Am I missing something or was it changed from before?

This is the last thing I need to do for the Treasures of Ardenweald achievement, and it’s frustrating to follow the steps correctly up to this point only to have them fail at the end.

Guessing you have the Vulpin targeted. You seeing any commenting about what he’s doing? “sits down lonely and sad” should’ve shown before the /pet will work.

Have been some Wowhead forum mentions that you may need to be fairly close to him too.

The achev seems bugged, doesnt matter how close or what happens that the /pet part of the vulpin doesnt work.
