Please investigate this it happens very often. Tested it on players standing still, they parry and dodge like its in front. Also on mounts…

You can dodge attacks from behind. Not sure about the parries maybe a batching/latency issue?
no you cannot dodge attacks from behind, that is only NPCs.

I have noticed this too. I have also noticed some raid bosses parrying attacks from the side - i was at ony’s back leg last night and she parried my attack.

That’s really weird. I can only guess there is latency differences between players
Maybe spell batching records the hit but it doesn’t go out until the way they are facing has changed?

You were 100% in front of her. At around 2:11 you can see you move to go behind her.
