Hunters are taming Civilian NPC Boars and bringing them into AV in order to cause raid-wide dishonorable kills and deranking. Will Blizzard do anything to fix this? Per usual, nothing will be done - prove me wrong, Anniversary devs.

Happened to me today. 2 DHKs in 1 AV via hunter civilian pet
lost 60% of rank 8
submitted a ticket and posted on bug forums
blizz GM replied with broken english or a typo telling me nothing they can do about itā¦ check out this picture

thats funny but it actually feels really bad when you are too scared to enter an AV because you dont know if you are gonna lose hours and hours worth of progress. All because of a bug being abusedā¦ seriously needs fixing and restoring lost rank.

Donāt know if this is real or not. Seems like there would be way more people up in arms about it if true. However, I wouldnāt be too surprised if there was a bug either.
They have never been willing to restore rank from DKās. It is even in the frequently asked questions. I got de-ranked at 13 in era by a can you help me summon, join party, instant DK. So donāt ever join a party when ranking.
Removal of DKās/Civilians is the one change I support.
Yea I was 2nd guessing myself at first. But nah man i was rank 6 the game before and all i did was re-que while in org. never left the city.
But of course i dont have real proof considering i wasnt expecting this or recording/streaming.
All i know is that at least 5 other people have told me its happened to them too in game today.
Yea hopefully it wont impact how many more weeks iāll need for rank 11ā¦
I guess iāll just have to be hyper vigilant of any hunters in AV from now on and always check their pets out. Had a druid tell me to just leave the BG if you see a civilian boar.
Agree with you as far as supporting the removal of the current DHK system or at least an overhaul.
edit: when you got griefed did you get your rank fixed and did the griefers get punished?
This is actually just shi-posting, at this point. Dogging people for their rank being griefed is fairly sociopathic. I think you need a break.

Honestly, Iām surprised they donāt make exceptions for deliberate trollingā¦ but then again, maybe not. Blizzard has been empowering troll behaviour for over a decade now.
But hey, itās a good thing they removed /spit from the game otherwise it would be irredeemable!

Another reminder of how intelligent conversation is a non-starter.
I am guessing itās just a lot of work they do not want to do. It could be different if its the result of a bug. However, after the chrono boon resolution. Just make them all work and reduce the price. That is pretty much the best I would hope for, fix the bug. Not fix the damage it did.

Most boars are passive, and any gray level pvp-flagged enemy that doesnāt attack unless attacked first is automatically classified as a civilian.
If itās actually true, which I somewhat question, why would you assume they would only go to AV? I mean going after the pre-mades would be far more satisfying I would expect.
