Players Abusing Mass Report/Auto Suspension System in WSG

Druids deserve it, honestly.

The issue at hand is that itā€™s possible to get a player banned mid-WSG by mass reporting them. That should absolutely be addressed.

The issue is not that your perspective as an Alliance player is that Horde players are all mean people.

And what is ā€œon brandā€ here is everyone in this thread agreeing that this is BS, then there is himā€¦

By all means - Iā€™d more more than happy to change my mind if you can provide any evidence of Alliance players doing thisā€¦ or at the very least Alliance players encouraging it (As has been on large display here in this very post from your side).

I agree though - false reports should result in a 30day suspension

You still havnt provided evidence that Horde players are doing it

Iā€™ve never heard this strategy mentioned in any wsg on horde side, and I donā€™t think most would agree to it if it was mentioned.

Thereā€™s definitely some sweatlords who would use it if it works, but letā€™s not pretend thatā€™s only true on 1 faction.

Sounds like to me this should be hotfixed and those dudes need lengthy bans.

FCs in premades fear my report button muahahahaha

lmao

It gets worst than that trust me Iā€™m serving a 10 day for talking smack and some clown sent me gold from a website and thatā€™s how I got the 10 day. Kids these days are very creative :rage:

Never opened the mail either

I will tell anyone on my team to mass report anyone suggesting we try to report the opposing FC or any member of their team.

Bots are now also exploiting this ridiculous mechanic to have anyone who disrupts their farming banned. Cā€™mon Blizzard ā€“ itā€™s time to get rid of this lazy nonsense that just ruins the game.

Hey, Iā€™ve been one of those folks, we mass reported because they were using the wall exploit at the Ally GY for an easy cap, like, they were using a known exploit in front of the entire opposing team . . . so yeah, mass report . . .

This is how Blizzard has been for awhile. Streamers would have their sperg army mass report people who were competing with them for spawns.

This is how it works on the forum too. If enough spergs flag your post the automod just nukes it and the suspension is shorter than the time it takes the one unpaid intern to review appeals.

Blizzard customer service is easily among the worst in the industry.

How do we know that he doesnā€™t have super sus names on other characters on his account?

Absolutely incorrect.

Source: Iā€™m VERY familiar with how the forum reporting system works.

If three people report your post, for the same reason, it goes grey.

It is ALWAYS reviewed by a human, even if that review consists entirely of the human just pushing the button marked ā€œvacationā€.

you also had spergs who mass report streamers too. Itā€™s mass abused by everyone. Until Blizz fixes it, itā€™s gonna continue to be abused.

The ddos was so brutal.

i also know people are being reported for refusing to spawn against premades

I mean, thatā€™s non participation in PvP, which is definitely an actionable offense. Thereā€™s a mechanic for leaving battlegrounds if you donā€™t want to continue fighting.

This is nothing new man. People have been mass exploiting the auto ban feature as far back as at least tbc. The problem is the quality of the community has gone to absolute garbage and the only real way to fix it no one is willing to do under the dilusion the only way to stop a troll is to ignore them. The actual way to stop anyone is pretty cut and dry. You make it uncool. Just youtube henry rollin klan disillusion team (i think thats what its called) fair warning there is some vulgar things said. But yes making something uncool is how you end it. Ask any parent this is super effective.
