I was told this is what it was by a Horde player. An alliance paladin in Durotar disappearing every time he starts to die. Did this 20 times in a span of 10 minutes. He is gone then randomly appears a couple hundred yards away mounted and flies away.

This is going to sound super scummy, but honestly they deserve it. Lately, whenever I encounter a player follower dungeoning, I open up my second account and create a new character on their server and faction. Add character name to regular friends list to track them. Create a macro and in it, include /invite player-server.
Now whenever they’re out of the follower dungeon and people are attacking them, spam the macro. Fun fact, players can’t queue for follower dungeon if they have an active invite, it won’t allow them to queue.
Works like a charm and they die. Again, might sound overkill and scummy, but they deserve it.

That has been around in WPvP since the introduction of the queue system. BG queues then Arena Skirms use to be the worst culprits. Wait until you meet someone that still carriers around some Deepholm Potions.

Ah, but the follower dungeon queue is instant and I don’t believe there’s a penalty for leaving.

There’s a hunter in War Mode from Stormrage, fully buffed like me, who follower dungeons any time he’s about to lose the 1v1 vs me. He’ll burst, fail, turtle, and while in turtle he’ll queue for a follower dungeon and leave.
Today, I successfully blocked it. Had a second WoW open on my other monitor, had an addon to continuously send group invites to the dude, and he couldn’t queue for a follower dungeon with the active invite. Killed him and man, that felt good seeing him panic knowing he couldn’t queue out.

Funny how the biggest hypocrite posts in these threads. You always mob around with a full party of people abusing world buffs, cheese ques, and just other random toys that give you an advantage. You don’t even realize how terrible you are since you run 3-4 rows of buffs. I’ve farmed you countless times, but anytime stuff gets a little dicey. You run scared and never fight fair lmao.

Full party? I rarely am able to get on during the afternoon so when I do, yes, I play with friends, about 2 regularly, otherwise I play mostly at 9:00 PM PST and all of my friends are EST so are offline by then. That is when I’m solo.
I don’t use follower dungeon but yes I do use other items in WPvP that’ll help me live, deal more damage, or escape (such as Darkmoon Cannon, Falling Flame from Timeless Isle, etc.) Those are all normal items though that anyone can obtain and isn’t a follower dungeon queue lol.
I dont think you realize how many buffs are in 3-4 rows… I’ve counted how many buffs I have, and its not any more than 8 buffs lol.
Ohh I remember you now, but you’ve never camped me. You were the druid who would sit at the ruby lifeshrine or wingrest camping lowbies, and then you would use the dwarf to escape. You would sit in the air in flight form and I would go next to you, net-o-matic, and you’d die to fall damage as a druid because you would wild charge too early and still die.
You’d then complain in general chat and other Alliance that we were “abusing an exploit” all because you couldn’t sit in the air in flight form and were in danger of being netted.
Yeah, I don’t remember being killed by you at all. At best, you escaped a few times, but never killed me haha. It was hilarious seeing you lose your mind trying to figure out what I used to mount up and escape your group of 4-5 at protodrakes. x)

Haha coming from the one abusing dwarf at Ruby Life Shrine camping lowbies. I don’t abuse any phasing, I just use items or toys to escape. It’s not hard as a Hunter to Feign Death mount, camo, or rocket helm + glider. (rocket helm sometimes has a chance to teleport you to Outlands after using it, so are you referring to this?)
All it takes is knowing how to read and a simple checkpvp and you’d see my highest is Duelist, 2100.

I only queue ranked for the Conquest at the beginning of the season. I continue doing ranked until I get fully Conquest geared and then I stop. Whatever rating I happen to get during those weeks, whether it be 1900 or 2100, I keep it at that and don’t queue anymore ranked because I no longer need the Conquest.
All it takes, like I said, is check-pvp. You can check-pvp Troolys - BleedingHollow and you can see all my PvP achieves lol.

Yeah penalties for leaving is something that should have been in place already. I never tried it, but seems pretty obvious.

You’re counting buffs that every player has upon logging in. Count the buffs that I obtain:
Flask is 1, WPvP tier set is 1, food is 1, ruby feast is 2, sausage is 1, and bakar is 1. That’s 7 buffs. The rest are filler buffs that everyone gets when logging in. You’re counting a darkspear tabard (?) and the reputation buffs that you receive for just being in Dragon Isles lol
