Player Mounts Have Shrunk World of Warcraft

I was traveling around Azeroth on my flying mount thinking it was going to take me a few minutes to get to my destination. And thought nothing of it. The feeling was almost like walking across the street to the store (irl). I then decided to give Wow Classic a try. So, I did. At the starting zone I realized I did not have a shofered motorcycle to drive around on. I had no mount at all and would not until level 40. Of course no flying mount either.

At this point I had gotten to level 10. And felt as if the world of Wow had grown to gigantic proportions. Everywhere I needed to go I had to run. Azeroth became enormous!

So, I thought that perhaps if Blizz removed all mounts from the game. We would be able to enjoy the big beautiful world Blizz had created for us.

So, I dunno, what do you think?

ooooorrr. Bliz could leave mounts alone and you could just walk?

I don’t want to walk in WoW, I walk IRL all the time. I don’t need to pretend to walk to get a feel for it. I want to ride a purple glowing saber IRL, but I can’t.

You’re right. Down with cars. We return to horse based transportation. Now that’s a recipe for some real road rage.

This is a troll post. All worlds are bloated and gross and if you don’t want to get through them as quickly as possible you are doing it fundamentally wrong.

You can always choose not to ever mount up and just do questing marathons all over the place if you you want this experience.

Believe it or not there are some people that play it this way when doing old content.

Hard pass. You can walk if you want, but I’d rather fly.

Also, if you don’t like using mounts, no one is forcing you to. You can walk anywhere you please and leave the rest of us alone.

Also, I know this guy. Human (of course) he was a lot like you OP. He felt the mount thing was making the game easier for him. I suggested the same thing to him as I did you. Walk.

He did. And the game was STILL to easy for him. Now his mount rides him from zone to zone. Want to become a target in PvP? run around with your mount on your back.
