Anyone else expecting this to be heavily, HEAVILY timegated upon release? Seeing as it will most likely be the main feature of Midnight, they can’t let us burn through it at our own pace.

Daily cooldowns on crafting mats and furniture.
X amount of furniture movements per day/week. Can only unlock X amount of items per week.
Or they can stop stretching the content as thin as they can to keep retention up 
anything works I suppose.

Why are we making up scenarios about a feature that’s 10+ months away?
Blizzard hasn’t even said anything about it other than it’s coming in Winter 2025.
Kinda weird to have this much frustration in regards to Blizzard to be panicking this far out.

THAT I can see a million times over timegating.
Even if it’s just that, I wouldn’t really consider that a big timegate.

I don’t expect time gating.
I do expect the most barebones skyrim-style housing imaginable as opposed to Wildstar or even FFXIV Housing though.

heavily gated, by every metric and extremely limited in its execution. I doubt it will even be free placement, they will have specific spots for specific things that you get to choose which of the limited options get placed there.
I have very little hope of getting anything remotely like actual housing, at best it will be one step above the garrison trophy placing and the decoration quest for your factions ‘embassy’ in TWW.
Click on Rug outline, choose one of the 7 options available (4 are probably locked) and click accept.

No, it’s not. I’d love it if they dumped their story content out all at once in a new patch and let me at it at my pace.
What I don’t like is a quick 20 minute quest line released over 8 weeks. Kills the pacing.

200 gold per turn of the rug. Choosing a rug colour you’ve unlocked through getting CE? 1000g. Changing door colour? 5000g.

Yes, if they actually implemented the hook/stronghold style setup of SWTOR I’ll be all over it. And I can see furniture blowing out astronomically in the AH too. All win imo.
