This far into the game, I have so many mounts, transmogs, and pets that getting more is hardly a reward anymore. I’ll still put them on if I like them, like this Plunderstorm outfit, but they’re not things that I feel compelled to seek out. I’m not gonna go out of my way to pet 50 dogs across Azeroth just to get another funny hat.
Player Housing though is something fresh with lots of possibilities for decorations worth seeking out. It’s really important Blizz doesn’t screw it up like Garrisons, because they’re a new avenue for a reward system that will feel genuinely rewarding. I will pet 50 dogs if I can hang a “certified pet petter” certificate on my wall.
