I tottally support this! As a roleplayer from outside of WoW for over 10 years, and 4 years roleplayingin WoW (on my second year on Moonguard), the Housing System is looking promising, and the request from the MG RP Community is a fair one! Give us this, Blizz!

Like a toggle option and if we want certain people only allowed in, we can just do a group invite.
Even though I don’t RP it would be pretty sweet to have parties.

as person that does all achievements, collects every title available, every toy available, every pet available and every mount available, i approve housing…
as long as there is not a single achievement, title, toy, pet or mount attached to it. so we dont have to interact with it.
then i will call housing a win win, cause the rp’ers will get what they been asking for, and then we can avoid it and keep on doing what we do.

I am so well and truly in favor of this. While I do RP, I believe in the end this is just a good way to interact with people across the board

I don’t roleplay, as of yet, but I have always been fascinated by the concept… it would definitely open up a whole new dimension to this wonderful game.

Rping in WoW…I did know about it but I never got into it for all my years of playing.
Once I started play DnD I slowly got into RP in WoW and now I can’t imagine NOT doing it, Made my best friends ever through out, Even met people IRL thanks to it, and made life long friends.

I wonder if the existing Looking for Group and raid invites would solve the problem; you could have up to 30 people come to your house using Have Group Will Travel, also existing tech. All you’d need is for the people to know where to look and that is that.

As a member of the roleplay community for the past eight years, I cannot stress enough how important the points made above are. Player housing has been a dream of mine for years and now that it’s being made a reality, it needs to be done right.
Roleplayers make up a critical number of gamers within the great World of Warcraft and player housing is an integral part of the fantastical aspect our our gameplay.

These are incredible ideas. My guild has a canon area for multiple players in Stonetalon Mountains, and if there was something like this implemented…those unique homes, markets, and profession areas will be legendary!

I don’t think this would be as impactful for me, but this certainly seems like a good general option. For RPers of course this sounds great, but also just in general to be a welcoming hand of “you can visit my house and maybe we will chat about something”.
I vote yes on “Opened to Public” options

As someone that understands that role players are the vast MINOIRTY of those that play World of Warcraft and the lead time for game development; I understand these features are either already developed or not. Doesn’t mean they could not be added as a future enhancement to the process, and I think it should be considered as an enhancement.
But better yet much rather just have the ability for guild housing to be a social area that is open to the public. Barely anyone uses game channels to advertise events now outside of yelling in the cities, so I see no benefit in another channel for this.
