Player housing better be not just for the rich

I bought two of those mounts. I could care less about player housing.

In all honesty, most of us could probably make millions of gold a day, but that would involve as you said doing world, content, and Spamming delves.

The only reason why I myself is not a millionaire is because I just don’t like playing all day every day just to make gold so I make it by doing professions and other outdoor activities

I have a house in another game I play when I’m feeling nostalgic. EVER since I got into QUESTing, TWO houses would be cool.

It’s a small money sink, idk, like 14s a month or something. I have a 2 story w/loft bedroom, giant windows. I can decorate it with shelves, furniture, books, banners and weapons, art, etc; I can decorate for the holidays. I have cats running around. It’s pretty cool.

If WoW wants more than a couple g a month for rent, it’s bull hockey.

Just get yourself a sugar goblin.

Housing assets of all different kinds coming to a store near you. It will be accessible to ALL, but with a slight caveat, if you have the Gold/RL money you can afford to buy the HD quality assets to decorate your house with.

J/K nothing more than a joke, the developers at Blizzard would never implement anything like this.

Just buy a token; if you value your free time and make more than minimum wage it’s simply more efficient + better use of your time. And when player housing is introduced, if there is a high gold price the token will spike (just like it did for brutosaur).

I can agree with everything you just said. But the premise of doing nothing at all that makes the currency in an mmo, and then complaining about not having the currency is too funny.

I don’t see any reason to add any sort of rent system to unlocking housing plots. One of the things I’ve always appreciated about WoW is its avoidance of maintenance costs that constantly threaten to take away something that’s been unlocked.

(one of the reasons I never returned to playing UO after I quit was the bad taste that the “stay subbed or we burn your house down” blackmail left me with towards the end of my time there)

the design philosophy should be to cater to as many different play styles as possible.

there should be instanced player housing, available in any of the capital cities.

and also non-instanced player neighborhoods, available in many different areas of azeroth.

and also guild housing.

It will be like most ‘fluff’ things in the game. Average wealth will get you so far then for certain things the wealthy will duke it out.

You know what happened with AH mount, why would they not do this lol

Has Bliz hinted that player housing is coming?
If not where is all of this coming from?

I mean… technically no, they haven’t actually said “we are doing player housing”.

for all we know it’s just teasing a new horde and alliance themed doormat coming to the blizzard gear store

Ah, ok; it just seems there have been a number of player housing posts of late, and I didn’t know why.

I mean, they basically announced it without actually saying it. it’s heavily implied.

Apartments are fine because they’re an immersive experience, you can hang in the common areas and then go into an elevator and get to your apartment. That way it doesn’t feel like just more instanced stuff.

you know it will be.

Pretty much

I login and either level alts, run dungeons(also how I level alts) or raid.

I didn’t have 64 level 70’s by doing WQs, or professiosn or anything else.

So far I got like 20 of 'em to 80 lol

Level and gear, all I do.

So all those toons and you haven’t done a single daily?
Boe leveling greens sell for 500g minimum usually.
Wax nodes and random chests and caches tend to give misc resources and vendor items.
I don’t believe not one of those toons doesn’t have a gathering prof of some kind and you flat ignore every node you pass.

I also doubt you afk in the main hub and only spam dungeons for every login session.
