Played the Classic stress test

Yep.

I’m torn, because there are definitely things that I’ve missed that I didn’t realize how awesome they would be but at the same time there’s a ton of QoL features that are gone.

That’s kinda where I am at. It was fun for a while but now those missing QoL features are starting to get to me. A fun one I experienced again yesterday is running back from a graveyard halfway across the zone when a dungeon group wipes. 10 minutes of my life just wasted on nothing.

lol? No, you certainly did not. And hey look, another person who doesn’t agree with your opinion about the difficulty of classic/vanilla. Shocker!

I was trying to squeeze one more post in before my dungeon group started. So…so what if you noticed that I clicked one reply button instead of another? Are you trying to claim there was something nefarious going on? omg was I like, trying to sneak a post in without letting you know when we get notified of replies to threads? That’s as ridiculous as you pretending your opinion is objective.

I know, that position is ludicrous. I love that quote though “We’re playing dungeons and dragons, not accountants and …” It’s absolutely true. I mean, what do you think everyone is going to act like when they realize that there are super grindy asian mmo’s out there! Clearly those are more of an RPG than classic will ever be!

Yep, and not just slower in the sense that you level slower, combat is slower, APM are much lower, user engagement (and by that I mean how much focus you actually need to give the game to play it) is waaaaaay down, everything takes longer to accomplish. These aren’t claims that one is good or bad, as you state, it’s different. And some people may like that better. That’s cool if they find this pace more to their liking.
