Playable Naga and Tuskaar? How would that work?

I have a question to all of you who want playable Naga and Tuskaar. How would that work? The Naga are hostile to everyone Alliance and Horde. The Tuskaar have always been neutral, never choosing sides. I would like to hear what everyone thinks.

Naga should be part of the Black Empire 3rd faction. Murlocs and Nerubians can go there as well.

As for Tuskaar, just keep them neutral.

Wouldn’t the Black Empire be hostile to Alliance and Horde?

So were the Undead until they weren’t.

So were the Worgen until they weren’t.

So were the Dark Iron Dwarves until they weren’t.

So were the Zandalari Trolls until they weren’t.

Etc.

Blizzard writes the plot, so they can choose who befriends whom at any moment.

Of course, that’s the best part! I’d love an evil faction.

Mate, you’re playing a worgen. There was a time when your race was hostile to everyone.

I mean we’ve already worked with friendly naga multiple times

They’re not a hive mind

The naga thing would work simliar to allied races, slay the current leader and push the new one supporting us. :robot::hocho:

You know that whole transmog issue people complained about with Drac’thyr. Same issue, but 100% of the time.

I don’t see anything wrong with neutrality.

By neutral, I mean they have never chosen sides, thus they would not join the Alliance and Horde.

Naga would already show more gear slots than mechagnomes currently do.

What friendly Naga have we worked with?

The Coilskar. That one naga in Slave Pens in BC. Probably others I’m forgetting.

I looked them up, the coilskar are part of the Burning Legion.

They’re part of the Illidari which is like the exact opposite.

Do you think they could join us?

Skar’this isn’t on our side, he’s devoted with summoning Ahune to spread Neptulon’s destruction.

Meridith is also pretty cool but made for a joke. Still has potential material to be used again if she collected any lost artifacts. :8ball::robot:

So were the Worgen. Now any playable Naga could be from a group of rebels that decide their best bet is working with the factions. We could even have a story where Azshara has captured other Elven races to turn them into new Naga, but they end up freeing themselves, and then returning to their faction. For example turned Night elves go to the Alliance, while turned Blood Elves return to the Horde.

The Tuskarr can easily be a neutral allied race. After all their are various Tuskarr tribes, so Blizzard could establish a story where one tribe becomes close with the Horde, while another becomes close to the Alliance.

at the moment the factions are relatively meaningless in the story, making them a neutral race like the pandas would be relatively simple narratively.

naga on the other hand have the issue of not having legs. That far eclipses any narrative roadblocks.

That said, I think both of these are pretty meh race requests.
