I want all the covenant races playable, as there’s really no reason not to do it. Ion himself has stated the team is opening to doing it but not at the start of Shadowlands.
I know that I for one would love to play as a Kyrian.

Tbh I want to play as one of the satyr-looking people from Ardenweald, but I don’t want the male characters to be super buff and macho or the female characters to be super waify. I want male and female characters to be as similar in size as possible. Slender and cute.

That’s how they are in-game. They use the same rigging as the female Draenei with some alterations here and there. The males and females are very similar in stature.

or they could give us races that’ve been in the game and make more sense to join than just a race that has no purpose out of the shadowlands ESPECIALLY to fight for a faction that most likely was one of the reasons they’re IN the shadowlands/dead in the first place.

I absolutely adore them and would roll one in an instant.
I know them actually joining us outside of shadowlands is lore shaky at best however I feel like there’s a good chance something will happen in shadowlands that would make it make more sense.
And if not, I guess they could just take the Mag’har orc route and just give us them anyway.

Or they could give us races that we’re interacting with RIGHT NOW.
They have plenty of reasons to join us. Many Kyrian want to explore the world, and one during questing even expresses her desire to visit Azeroth.
You do realize Azeroth isn’t the only planet right?
It’s not shaky at all. The races of the Shadowlands can leave whenever they want.

Prefer furbolgs, saberon, sethrak or anything else that actually has a reason. Blizzard declared ‘just because you see a race doesnt mean its going to be playable’

Yeah, I do, which is why I said ‘MOST LIKELY was one of the reasons’, that implies there’s more than one reason as to why they might be dead now.
Besides, where do the dead go when they die? I’m really hoping this doesn’t get butchered more than it is. It wouldn’t make sense.

Oh god. Playable fae? That would be so amazing. It took 15 years for fey to show up in WoW even though loose references to them existed in vanilla. I love them and I’d love too play as one. Perhaps pixies…?

Playable poo poo race
I want playable Harpies.
Make them look like Xayah from League of Legends.
I’m not reaching at all. We literally join these races in Shadowlands and restore their realms from dying out. Loads of the people in the Shadowlands respect us. The Archon even mentions she has gained a great respect for the mortal races of Azeroth and “has much to discuss” in the future.
Also, what the heck is a warden of death? None of these races are wardens.
When a mortal dies in the Shadowlands it dies for good. Like a demon.
If a Kyrian player died in WoW, they’d just do the usual corpse run. If they’re made playable in Shadowlands, all they have to do is make them a Maw Walker and just like that they work perfectly.

we die in the shadowlands and our spirit just walks back to our corpse. This is false. We don’t die for good. There’s a giant stretch between giving the ‘immortal soul’ we have to one of these races and then just saying they’re all over the place.
I’d prefer races that are already well established rather than are expansion FOTM races because they ‘look cool’ or the entire expansion/zone/whatever is about them.
There’s plenty of races to go back and take from or include actual kobolds (little dragon men) rather than what we have.

Cause tbh, I hope I’m wrong, but from what I’ve seen I cant really imagine them abandoning Ardenweld to join either faction.
At least as it stands right now.
The only source is Garona and the House of Eyes or whatever in the cinematic ‘leaving’ the shadowlands to stop the legion interfering which is what Blizzard confirmed. They’re the only ones I believe/did this.

There’s a lore reason for it actually. It’s due to our connection to Azeroth and our position as a Maw Walker. You may want to read up more on that stuff.

They wouldn’t abandon Ardenweald. They’d fight for nature in life. Which is fine. It works.
But as for sources? There’s two. Draka leaves the Shadowlands in her animated short and visits a legion world. There’s also the Shadowlands Pre-Patch in which a bunch of Kyrian swoop down from the giant hole in the sky and enter our world.
