It’s a role playing game and I want to play on a more evil side. Right now both alliance and horde are just so correct. Anduin is always brain dead right and it’s so boring to follow his orders. And horde just got away Sylvanas. I’m so sick of Saufang and Baine keep yelling honor when you can be cunning and win the war.
I want an evil faction.
Edit: I’m not saying I need to choose between alliance and horde as I play both factions. I’m saying that I hope there’s an option to be evil in a open world role playing game.
If you want a evil faction Horde is there waiting for you (in warcraft 1 orcs vs humans and warcraft 2 tides of darkness and beyond the dark portal.) Horde isn’t the super white knight in armor faction and has more personality than a stick unlike the alliance so i’ll stay horde.
I’m twenty six thank you very much, and the alliance is the typical good guy human nation that every single RPG and MMORPG game uses. Big castle, Knights in shining armor, a religion that keeps them pure and good, big banners flying around, fighting evil that isn’t with their beliefs? all checked for being a copy paste of every other good faction out there in the gaming universe.
What video games that Blizzard doesn’t own is a copy paste of Horde? Horde is original, Horde is unique, and i’m sorry i want something different than the same spoon full of crap every other unoriginal good guy faction has.
Off the top my head, Sith in SWTOR is similar if not way more evil, plenty of games also allow you to play as an orc/monstrous races. Horde’s also been around for like 20 years now, I think the novelty factor has worn off a long time ago.
A blood elf Paladin who gained his powers from vamping a diety of pure light, a elf speices that was known from sucking the living magic out of everything that had it like a vampire. Red and Gold armor to symbolize blood, purity, and sacrifice which before was Black and Red. Plus I have so many different horde toons, i have every class maxed and i have forsaken toons in the most darkest themed armor.

This is the reason I play horde. But now, the horde kinda feels too civilized.
I feel like I’m out there reppin’ the Zandalari peeps, with the heritage armor. Not just part of the horde, but also a zandalari soldier.
I always /cheer new ZTrolls when I astral recall to the top of Dazar’alor cuz I haven’t changed it since I started this guy(too lazy to change my hearth)
