You made the mistake of assuming I’m rolling on an RP server to avoid streamers. That automatically painted a negative picture of you as a person.
So, yeah. I got defensive. Sue me, it’s a result of spending too much time on these forums.
Also no where did anyone say I would not be interested in RPing a bit if I did roll on the RP server. I would roleplay as a fisherman. I do love some Azshara fishing.
I never assumed you were rolling on an RP server to avoid streamers, when did I make that claim about you? I assumed from the get go you were an RP player playing on an RP realm and wanted no one else on the RP realm, even RP"lite" players.
Starting off by being openly hostile to potential new members, who said nothing of griefing RP players mind you, really doesn’t paint a good picture of the type of community you claim to represent. I sincerely hope you are the exception and not the rule.

It comes down to this:
-You absolutely do not have to RP (try it though and you may just love it)
-If someone else is rp’ing in your vicinity then respect it and don’t break their immersion
-Don’t have a stupid f####ing name
That’s really all there is to it to be on our server and get along. I hate saying it is a more “mature” realm type but I will certainly say it much more helpful, involved, passionate, and welcoming.
So if you pick our lord and savior Grobbulus, welcome aboard and have fun

Hell the very first server on any MMO I ever played was Dark Age of Camelot RP-server Guinevere and I had a good time RPing on it.

Wow, that is one of the most disgusting things I have ever heard of in my entire life. I’m not soft about ganking events (though I dislike it) but that would drive me to go out of my way to make the gankers’ lives hell, because at that point they should be driven off the server entirely. No exceptions.
Some of the people here saying they would like to ruin RP events on the RP-PvP server remind me of the guild that was having an in-game funeral for one of their friends when a whole raid ganked all of them.
People are sick.

Hey just like regular server players can’t avoid streamers for sure, you will not be able to avoid regular players being refuges on your RP server.

Laeric, in no way shape or form does it sound like an accusation. He’s saying that there will be regular players driven off their own realms on the RP server anyways. He’s not accusing you of anything.

To be honest trying to figure out what your reading between the lines there. That statement is accusing you of being an RP player that doesn’t want none current RP players from rolling on the RP realm. It doesn’t verify me saying your rolling on the rp server to avoid streamers.

Alright let it rest then, I have no intentions of griefing the RP server, I just want a server that I can understand all the language being spoken(no BR etc) and not hordes of streamer followers blacklisting you for ganking a streamer.
Edit but I may not be super thrilled in RPing all the time.

Actually, if you roll Thalson (Which is going to be the BR server) it’s been agreed by 20 big guilds that English is going to be ENFORCED in the public chat channels. They’re likely going to create their own channel in which they can speak their native tongue, so no worries in regards to language barrier. At the most, you might see some grammatical error but still legible.

Most BR know more English to get pass, and they’re willing to speak it honestly. You can go Rp-PVP so long as you don’t openly say everyone here is trash etc. If you grief we’ll probably just have the community grief you off the server, Normal RP will probably be easier to grief, but you’re pretty bad morally if you do this, and should think about fishing instead of hurting nerds feelings.
Blizz is pretty good about enforcement on RP servers, from the naming policy to dealing with legitimate griefers that aim to disrupt people’s RP.
