Plate Helmets in Wow

How is it after all this time, that the most common plate helm model is that stupid looking thing with the horns on the side? like this is the best anyone could come up with?? This helmet looks stupid. Then you go spend countless amounts of time trying to farm mats for things like the lion heart helmet (before TBC) and thats what it looks like. Come on blizzard. Please try harder.

You want them to try harder on models they designed nearly two decades ago?..

You see that painting you made in kindergarten? Try harder you pathetic art casual.

That’s how dumb you sound right now.

I’m pretty sure back in classic and BC all they had were those helmets? If you’re talking about retail we got all kinds of helmets and cosmetic items not just the “pointy hats.”

And why make the common stuff look like high tier stuff? The tier items for the most part were unique or they had a class set that made it unique to that class.

I am trying to understand what you’re meaning here.

That helmet your describing is, to this day, my favorite helm in wow. Crazy how personal opinion works.

All helms are ugly, since they hide my beautiful pink pigtails.

Which is why I hide them, along with cloaks, which are also ugly.

And don’t get me started on tabards. If I wanted to wear a giant ugly apron I’ll get a job working in a kitchen run by a sadist.

Your opinion means less to me than what I flushed after waking up.

Your toxicity aside, when people post on the forums they aren’t trying to impress you personally. It’s a group conversation and the group appears to side against you on this one.

Im wondering why when TBC came out they could design something as cool as the T5 warlock helm, and warriors got the same stupid helms through all of the game.

Even that is better than the current retail plate “armor” designs.

They don’t fit with each other, they don’t look like something you’d use for armed combat. You NEED transmog in retail because using the default appearance would just make everything look more bizarre than it already does.

In Legion I briefly reverted to default appearances and had literal buckets in my feet ( Burning Coven Sabatons - Item - World of Warcraft (wowhead.com) with green legs that fit like skinny jeans.

He obviously wasnt trying to impress me by calling me stupid. I was just curious why the models were so bad and he decided to go “toxic”. Did you not read that part?

obviously wasnt trying to impress me by calling me stupid

No, I said you sounded dumb. You called yourself stupid.

It’s not toxic because you are offended you said something dumb. If anything resorting to calling someone toxic due to you being unable to grasp a simple concept is by the definition toxic.

Toxic would be asking if your parents ever placed your art on the fridge when you were little but we both know they didn’t care enough to given your response.

You mean from a design aspect way back in the day? Like why they originally made those sets the way they did. Right?
