Plate class?

I am leveling one of each armor type to 70. Just because…I have the following so far:

70 Night Elf Druid
70 Human Hunter
70 Draenei Warlock

I am looking for a place class with good mobility, straightforward play style and ease of solo. Any suggestions on class and race?

I am leaning towards Paladin > DK > Warrior

I vote paladin. My favorite races for a pally are human or lightforged. You could go dwarf too if you don’t wanna repeat races.

Warrior I think.

I play DK and love it but I’ve been told by people I introduce it to that DnD takes getting used to. If you don’t mind DND, Frost DK can be very fun and easy.

Paladin gets my vote. Warrior is boring and DK isn’t very fun.

Also mobility and plate don’t really go together. Best for that would be warrior with leap and charge I guess.

Truthfully, if you like playing all the roles go Paladin. It’s nice being able to mess with everything.

On the otherhand. DK is a very unqiue class. Blood DK is very fun due to Grip/sustain. Unholy and Frost give some very unique playstyles.

I would personally vote for DK as I find thier specs entertaining, and I usually lean more towards the “dark side.”

Warrior or Paladin if you want mobility, DK does not have very much, and is in kind of a weird spot in enjoyability at the moment play-wise. All three specs of warrior are pretty fun, and I quite enjoy ret/holy on paladin, though I hear prot is very good too.

Something else to note if you care about mogs, Warriors can use basically everything though I think the restrictions on that are changing in the future.

I have a level 31 Warrior. I love her.

The rotation is good and kills are easy, if a bit slow compared to a ranged character.

I have died when I tried to take on multiple mobs but that is no big deal. I still take em on.

Warrior is just da best

One extra unfortunate thing for DK is blizz still has not fixed DK voices (pls blizz, I beg you)

I thought about Warrior, but I remember stances, are they still a thing? Like you cant charge in defensive so you need to toggle? And you need macros, lots of macros. Been a while.

Paladin does seem like it would be a strong survivor. And like you said, it would be easy to get groups for leveling since I could do any role.

DK’s slowness would probably drive me nuts. My Warlock is bad enough with having to fry myself to get moving

Warrior stances exist but have no restrictions like in classic. You can use all abilities in any stance, they just give passive benefits. Don’t even need a shield for spell reflect anymore.

Paladin fits all that 100%

Paladin just because they fit all three roles so you can intermingle where necessary

for weapon mog warrior

If mobility is what you’re looking for I’d say Warrior. They don’t have a ton but more than the others.

Fury Warrior is a great DPS spec with good self sustain for what it is, I can easily solo -most- open world rares with it.

For the ones I can’t, I swap over to Prot real quick and get 'em down no problem.

The rotations are fairly simple and it’s a fun class to play.

I play a Worgen Warrior and having Heroic Leap and the racial Darkflight helps me zip around.

How is the AOE DPS on these? DK > Paly > Warrior?

Paladin feels crazy easy to play right now. DK is always a solid choice, especially if you like the edge lord flavoring. I’ve always found Warrior rather boring. I did recently level a Worgen Warrior to 60, though, and I like him enough I’ll probably experiment more with the class in the new follower dungeons.

Warrior, they can learn the weapons except warglaves for transmog.
