Hi, I’m from WrA, been playing here for a while (Most of my WoW years). But lately I’ve been wanting to try something new, for both Alliance and Horde. Now, I now this is dumb to ask but…

How active is the RP here?

How’s the Faction Balance?

How does it compare to WrA & MG? (sorry, those are the 2 im familiar with)

Sorry if this is kind of dumb to ask, but before I move my main to a completely new server, I kinda want to know stuff beforehand haha. Cheers :heart:

I have no clue the faction balance as I am always sharded with WRA kirin tor and argent dawn

Rp is guild centric with multiple events each week open to the pubic

Its a huge change from wra to ed…might make a trial character first and attend some stuff.

Also, many events are with warmode on…so if have issue with pvp happening to an RP event, might wanna stay- though i guess there might be a community on ed with wm off…not sure myself as I do not do that.

Good to hear! There is a post called Horde PSA that I upkeep on events fornHorde and cross faction down a few posts. That also has the alliance and horde in game community codes and I belemieve my btag info for more Horde information, especially if you would like to check out the Horde RP discord.

If you choose alliance, or both, i am sure Acialga can assist with mor alliance information.

I feel like we answer a post like this atleast once a week lol. With that being said, here’s some answers to your questions.

There is hardly any walk up RP, a lot of it is in guilds or at events set up for the server by guilds.

Population wise, Alliance only slightly out number horde (it used to be horde out numbered alliance by a lot a few years ago). RP wise, you’ll find more RP on alliance side.

What people don’t realize is very different than those two is ED is RPPVP. On ED we pride our selves on PVP. If your not a fan honestly I don’t suggest this realm as most events have some sort of PVP battle or something like that attached to it. Not many guilds here RP and PVE, I only know of one who actually do and they are alliance. So you have to understand that PVP on ED is a big part of our culture when RPing and almost every event is warmode on.

RP is getting bigger and bigger weekly.
Faction balance is nearly perfect
WrA and MG have more roleplay of lower quality, crappy faction balance and a hateful community when compared to ED.
Enjoy and welcome to the true rp server… Now turn on warmode

RP is great. More of a tight community so most people are familar with eachother’s characters which allows for a sense of continuity through events.

Plus we’ve amicable relations with our Alliance counterparts thats allowed us to set up some structured RPPVP events and less violent affairs like competitive sports leagues.

The new elixir of tongues has really made the cross faction rp and rppvp even more immersive. We can do more than just grunt at each other.
