Can we just say how badly designed the end boss in Plaguefall is … (edit: >M+10)
Tentacles that one shot you - no other boss in Shadowlands Dungeons have one shot mechanics
Infectious Rain channel that brings the entire party down - then continous to damage after the channel … can and will bring those down to 25% if not dispelled (healer has 1 dispel)
Is it Quaking week ? Oh good luck with that …
This dungeon is the worst of the worst in my opinion (coming from a healer point of view)

they dont one shot you. They do high damage but most def can be lived by and have with personals in the past. Obv hard to do and not worth as strains the healer.
Healer is not the only one with dispells any kyian can remove as well as a number of classes. While even if no one can so? the rain is a heal check the damage is quite healable. If it cant be healed thats your healer not belonging in that level of content. The group should be helping via using a personal thou as there is no other spot in the fight they should be getting hit by anything to need it. Without the rain effect the healer would do basicly nothing that fight the boss dosen’t hit the tank that hard (the adds do but you kite them, the stationary add is not bad as far as tank damage goes)
quaking week hardly changes that boss. Only tank needs to be in the statinary adds circle so can spread out. If multi melee will likly lose some time on boss but thats normal to all 5 mans pritty much. Use a few range and thats a none factor as they can spread. Healer stops cast for a sec or uses a instant. If they line up at same time the party pops there healthpot or healthstone ideally both.
Esp when we are talking about a fort week the boss is not bad at all was far worse last week hes a push over this week with quaking.
Three stage fight should be lineing pride up for phase 1, short cds on phase 2 and lust phase 3. Doing so there is not many rains and the fight is quite maangeable. Those that lust phase 1 with pride are doing it wrong when the boss trans by % wasting a good chuck of the lust or pride effect.
You mean… tentacles that are easily dodged because you’re literally doing nothing else in that fight.
So the healer has to heal for 15 seconds? Dispel yourself and heal others… there’s nothing else you have to worry about during that phase either.
If it was dodge mechanics and have to heal through it then I’d agree with you. I hate Plaguefall too, but trying to make it seem like it’s impossible is just silly. The hardest part about that boss is waiting for it to be over because the boss goes MIA.

Manages those mechanics and it’s one of the easiest keys to time this week though.
They don’t thou, I am quite able to survive it on fort week 10+ with GOTAK up. IT will leave me with about 10% hp. Its vary high damage but it is not a one shot. A one shot is an attack that dose % wise damage and will kill you no matter what save for a immune. The tentacles are not. They are high enough damage that they will kill you without a really heavy cooldown but they are not a one shot.
Tell you what, lets do a +10 and i want to see you survive it, you’re fos, nobody can survive a hit from the tentacle, please troll elsewhere

The base damage is 21971 on mythic0 this scales by key level, a +10 key tyr week boss abiltys do x2.41 damage. This means 52950 damage pre mit as nature damage, most class/spec do not reduce spell damage by much with there out of the box mit.
As a tank my health is 57000, on tyr weeks with GOTAK as mentinoed the daamge is cut by 50% meaning about 26k damage. This is quite livable from full health but rarly will be toped due to rain or otherwise. As such norm end with about 10% health left if using said cooldown.
That chart is from BFA but checked in game and exactly matches the numbers seen on my +12 and +11 key on two diff toons showing as still accurate. In fact the damage is even less than mentioned as looking back used 2.41 for tyr week that is fort weeks mob damage its in fact 2.13 but wont edit the math as shows even with the mess up of being much higher than it should be still quite livable. Which would be the approx damage of a +12 tyr week (2.48)
Its basic math and have seen it within the fight. The only person here fos is you with your claim no one can survive it.
The skill is not a one shot it is a high damage hit nothing more.
It wouldn’t be so bad if the tentacle hitbox wasn’t so wonky. Quite often I’m sure I’m safe and then it slaps down, completely missing me, but the resulting green slime area is like 1.25x larger than the visual tell.
Considering i have seen multiple people take 1 hit through different levels of M+ and die, you’re insane to think it don’t. Hell when i first learned that stupid thing i got 1 shot on a +5, so maybe you’re talking about bubbling. Also, you do know i am referring to the slime right?

Yes that is the number for the slime tentacles hit.
Your feel or “seen” multi people do x means nothing when the hard math says otherwise. All your seen means is that those people did not have a cooldown running to survive said large hit, or where not toped. Never once was it said you would survive it without a cd unless your a tank and toped. 53000 damage at tyr +12, is not a small amount but it it non the less survivable and as such not a one shot. A one shot mechanic is a % wise damage or a mechanic with damage so high no matter what you do save a cheat death or immunity you will not survive, regardless of role/class or spec. Eg the abyssal detonation on last boss in spires that in the same level of content rather than doing 53k damage dose 170k damage, a massive diff that even with stacked personal cooldowns wont survive even as a tank. Unless using a cheat death/immunity. This is an example of a hard hitting mechanic not a one shot. As said from the first post.
