After ret buffs were reported missing in pvp, been seeing people mention the demonbolt pvp buff wasn’t added either.
Which makes me wonder , how many pvp buffs/nerfs actually made it through? What if half of the pvp changes this expansion were never added ( be it by error or intent) and no one bothered seeing if it did.
Not trying to put on my tinfoil hat or anything but if rets hadnt mentioned their pvp buffs were missing do u think blizzard would’ve fixed it by themselves? And how long would it have taken?
I remember in SL when they said that they nerfed Triune ward and all the Mages lamented about how much more they were dying and upon closer inspection they only nerfed the tooltip value, not the actual shielding.
Hogx are you seeing the changes in the Anniversary patch? Does it look like they want us to go back to some version of Shadowlands Cobra shot spam? I really hope this isn’t the case.
It’s worth noting that at least since S2 of DF the pvp changes have been applied to instanced pvp only. I have reported this as a bug and recommend you do the same to raise awareness. If you join arenas or bgs you will see the changes, but if you hit the PVP dummy, duel, or engage in world pvp the changes have not been applied at those levels. They do have previous pvp tuning values applied at that level, but not recent tuning. Stormkeeper for example still does damage in duels but is weak in arenas. Scorch is stronger in Arenas than it is when hitting a dummy, etc.
“Oh you want your summoned pets to actually attack your target and not that totem off screen? How about a nerf instead.” Diabolist was already the worst out of the hero specs. Sucks cuz it was fun.
I dunno I only play mage spriest hunter right now so I can so frost is pretty strong but I also play classes that counter mages so they don’t seem too oppressive. Again I play counter classes so I am biased
