Pit of Saron is broken

unless someone was still inside the tunnel that sounds like a bug. Tyrannus shouldn’t chase you outside of the gauntlet area.

I did this today and it is a bit tougher than some of the others, but not horrible. we died a few times but it was just due to pulling too much.

It surely is.
As surely as it was hilarious to watch, even as I was frozen solid and flung dead into the side of a mountain by a single one of his swings and the Paladin ran screaming up the tunnel in vain hope of escape.

I almost wonder if you could cheese his fight that way, like if rimefang wouldn’t attack you or something.

I think he would mock you by allowing you to burn him and then resetting at 1%

Oh, he does.
That’s the only reason I lived long enough to recognize the plated face of the beast that killed me.
He stumbled through one of Rime’s frost patches.

The problem with the hill is no one discusses the approach, so half the people run, and half don’t.

Boomer: “Back in my day we had to earn our dungeons her derp”

I had this discussion last time i was in PoS. If you don’t go the minute Ick dies don’t bother with trying to run past the mobs, someone will pull the second group.

Had to search up the dungeon as i wasn’t familiar with names.

I’ve done a few timewalkings, no problem here. seems like any other dungeon.

Ick is the easiest boss in PoS.

I’ve had a few wipes in PoS, groups just need to stop trying to skip the ramp after Ick, someone always lags behind and it always leads to a wipe. Had the same problem when it was new in Wrath, people seem to be obsessed trying to skip the ramp. Just kill the packs on the ramp, will save more time. I mean if the group wipes later on will have to clear the ramp anyways, might as well just do it and get it over with.

As for Tyrannus chasing you beyond the gauntlet area, had friends in Wrath have this happen to them even back then, he will sometimes bug and do that, best solution run out and he usually resets. Think it was caused, at least then by attacking him while he was still mounted.

Believe he would say something about how you should have stayed in the mountains or something like that.

I agree with OP. Everything was going fine in my group up until the ramp. My god it was a carnage.

Halls was rough, but the one that I remember being a true test of skill and determination for heroic was Halls of lightning; Loken’s mechanics boned more runs then I can count and no one wanted to run that dungeon.

Aspect of Nature or whatever it was on my hunter, plus a shaman friend and nature resist totem made the Nova a non-issue.

I nor the ppl I ran with, were absolutely not over-geared when running PoS or any of these dungeons. lol Back then I was as casual as they came as were my cohorts in the madness that was Wrath. lol We just goobed about and had fun running dungeons.

These dungeons are what honestly allowed all of our class abilities to shine, be you crazy raider, or casual player.

100% this.

Also - ROFLMAO@the one person in this thread who is calling us “elitists” for enjoying these dungeons…I mean really. Get over yourself. You know who you are, I won’t be blatantly rude and tag you, but if you’re reading this thread still and catch this…you know who you are.

I’m out of likes but am sending you good vibes for this post I agree with. It was a different world pre-LFD for the casual unguilded player, it was quality over quantity for the dungeon grind and you did your best in hopes that people would invite you back.
