Compared to the other TW dungeons this place is all over in terms of how well it goes. Most of the times groups fall apart at the ramp, some times the tank can just face roll the entire thing. If you are going to make the dungeons hard (annoying) then do it across the board…dont have this one dungeon sprinkled in thats way over tuned for something any1 and every1 has access to.
For last boss just make sure hes bein led over frost patches
And as for the ramp issue its not too bad if you just tell people to interrupt the ones casting fireball before ya pull…
or if your groups particularly coordinated you can mount up after 2nd boss and run past them at the same time while they aren’t attackable to skip the first 2 groups (will prolly wipe you if you do it wrong tho)
the third group you can run around by hugging the left wall anyway, and then its just the 4th group to deal with
It’s been a timewalking dungeon since wod. The same people who have played it since then are now suddenly forgetting the mechanics? How exactly does that work?
I tanked this so many times when it was current, even then people were anxious to rush in and ignore mechanics. My tank was a dk and I’d yank the fireball guys in, I gave up trying to rush past them on the ramp. The last boss wasn’t a big deal with gear levels then, just a lot of kiting as others have said.
I think we need more deadly dungeons like this, might get me to tank them again.
PoS requires 3 things. !) A tank that isn’t going to superhero pull an entire floor of mobs. 2) A group that somewhat knows what the heck they are doing. 3) People that are willing to work with some cohesion. It’s not a roflstomp dungeon.
Had this one day or so ago. It feels like stuff hits harder than it did when it was current but that might just be players were outgearing it back in WOTLK era. Had some newbs who didn’t know what they were doing die but otherwise we got through it.
It’s not actually you dying it’s your character and they don’t actually die they just deres then res. The fun part is the strategic aspect, which has given way to a rush mentality.

At least when you caught it in WOTLK it did reward better. Thinking it dropped loot equal to 25 man Uldar at the time? Think trial of the crusader dungeon dropped 10man uldar loots. I might be off been a long time.
