Anyone else feel like the pirate theme was too forced in bfa?
There was a pirate theme?
No? That was mostly contained to Kul Tiras, a tiny section of Vol’dun, and Island Expeditions.
Well it was about 10 years too late as far as pop culture, I know that.
Still disappointed we never got player or guild boats.
This thread is more disappointing than BFA
No, there were not, and are not, ever enough pirates in this game.
A expansion that started off with a strong naval theme because the factions needed them
How would pirates be forced in a theme all about sailing?
This makes me want to go get a cat and dress it up in many different ways to amuse myself.
Just felt like the whole freehold thing and outlaw rogues are a bit iffy
Agree to disagree!
I don’t know, I just didn’t really like it.
Freehold was cringy.
Didn’t like the vol’dun are either, it just felt so unrelated to the story.
Island expos well they’re alright
What pirate theme?
Freehold, outlaws, vold’un area
Literally if it had been pirate themed, the xpac would have been 30% better than it was. BfA was IDK WTF I’m doing themed
Nope…
Lmao
True
To each their own
Yea… I dunno. I mean Freehold sure. Other than that I don’t really recall seeing pirates anywhere else. Maybe in some of the island expos? I can’t even recall.
There’s an area in vol’dun too, also the whole area in tiragarde sound, transmogs
I dislike a lot about BFA, but the small little pirate subplot wasn’t one of the reasons.
I like pirates don’t get me wrong. I just don’t really remember seeing them much.
Yaarrr I love me some awful pirate jokes. I know a couple off by heart.
What’s a pirates favorite restaurant? Arrrrrbeys
What’s a pirates favorite letter? …
People think it’s the R but it’s really the c!
Yaarrr. Everyone throw in your awful pirate jokes.
On serious note ya I guess Blizz was a couple years late on that one but that’s ok.
