ARRR!!! Blizzard seems to have been dancing around the most obvious class addition for years… The Pirate. From adding Kul Tirans, to implementing Plunderstorm, and even the latest zone for TWW( Siren Isle).
Whilst everyone argues whether or not Tinker Class is worth adding or not… Pirate Class is already on deck and ready for action! With some classes already showcasing elements of what could make a Pirate Class work… such as Outlaw Rogue… it’s easy to see why it would be a no brainer to add!
Specialization:
- Grogarian(Outlaw Rogue x Brewmaster Monk) DPS
- Crewsader(Arms Warrior x Survival Hunter) DPS
- Shantyslinger(Mistweaver Monk x Holy Priest) SUPPORT
Features:
- Melee Damage
- Healing
- Pets
- Power Words
Available Weapons
- Axes, Daggers, Fist Weapons, Polearms, Staves, Swords
Armor Type
- Leather
Grogarian would be the Outlaw Rogue class with a twist… they would utilize the Brewmaster’s ‘drinking’ elements. But instead of drinking ‘Brew’… it would be Grog. Cause… pirate. This option would be tharrr standard buccaneer experience.
Crewsader would be ye’ old Privateer option, for those looking for more of a professional pirate life. Dedicated sailors devoted to the sea. I’m thinking Warrior class… with elements of Survival Hunter. Mainly the use of parrots, crocodiles, etc.
Shantyslinger aka Pirate Bard Class! Singing sea shanties and having fun whilst doing so! There’s been a lot of discussion throughout the years on how to implement a Bard class… and I think this would be a great opportunity to do so! Holy Priests have Divine Hymn… Shantyslinger would have Sea Shanty.
From Captain Keg Leg to Flynn Fairwind… there’s plenty of already existing pirates in World Of Warcraft. It only makes sense to allow players the ability to be one. Whether ye be Freehold’s First Mate… or a Siren Isle’s Swashbuckler… when you’re a professional pirate, you are always in the best of company!
