On my very 1st UBRS in S.o.D. the skinning dagger dropped. Knowing I’d need this to skin the corehounds in MC for my guild, I slammed that need button but sadly lost the roll. No problem. Wild Growth is popping, I’ll start making my own runs and HR the dagger…

A big ole’ goose egg, zero. This got me thinking. I understand I can buy the leather for Reals but why can’t I buy the option to get them on my own?
I could spend my 200+ Firelands Embers to buy something besides a few soulbound patterns maybe. I’d even take a gold option just to be able to get crafting materials from the raid for my guild.
On the bright side, there are many rogues forming groups for UBRS so you wont be lacking there.

Be nice to get the bonuses of Skinning without having to equip the dagger every time.
Yeah they really need to figure this one out. My guild has been running UBRS non stop for the damn skinner and it still hasn’t even dropped.
Seeing all that core leather go to waste in MC and not getting Ony skinned is PAINFUL.
Either up the drop rate or give us another method of boosting skinning.

Or just make it doable with 300 skinning, locking trash skins behind a skill boost is silly
Its especially silly when this is seasonal content and we NEED Ony cloaks for BWL
With ony being a 20 man on a 3 day lockout we should have plenty of scales but i imagine theyll put in a way to get scales with reals or something to invalidate gathering professions further
its also ruining my experience, im over 50 runs currently and havent even seen its existence. I lead my own raids sometimes and not having it is making me feel like im just losing in game gold

My guild still can’t skin Onyxia or corehounds because the dagger will not drop! And we have done guild runs over and over and over again trying to get it.
I took off work to grind Pip’s. Turned out a guildie already had it
