I am suggesting that you please make more girly mounts, zones, and transmogs. I can promise you that you will drag more female players in. This will make it easy for me to play with my guild mates partners or convince them to play the game with their S.O.
I have come across a very small handful of “girly” mounts. I have the x45-Heartbreaker mount but that isn’t enough. Please consider making more pink/purple/glittery looking items/mounts.
EDIT: I in no way meant to offend anyone or exclude any genders. I realize by trying to get my point across I may have mislabeled the color and interests of others. Xc
EDIT#2: LOVE IS IN THE AIR HAS BEEN REWORKED! This means they have brought more pink in the game!
I will object to the term ‘girly’. Sorry, it’s a massive pet peeve of mine. It puts stereotypes on gender and I have always hated that.
To say pink is a ‘girl’ color just gets me frothing. Pink was a boy color historically, which is why, for example, the Christian Mary is depicted in blue, why Alice in Wonderland’s dress was blue, etc. Pink was the more expensive color.
I remember a show saying a young boy who liked the color pink was likely gay just floored me. He was a kid. What is liking one color over another mean anything other than liking a color?
It’s associations like this I swear that is one of the sources of really messing people up.
Sorry, OP, I’m not trying to bash your request, I think there should be more variety and what you’re basically asking for. I just object to the assumption that if like purple or sparkly it’s girly.
I realize the issue is with English terminology. But having known a lot of women who hate pink and hate sparkles but are forced to deal with the color due to their gender and the same for males and the color options there, it’s a button for me. (Can you guess? )
Apologies for getting on a soapbox here, it is just a long-standing chip on my shoulder sorepoint and I had to rant.
Other than the terminology, I totally agree with what you say. I think it would appeal to a wider audience because it gives people more options as well as appealing to a wider variety of tastes.
That is because the skirt/robe mesh is built into the player model as a “leg variant”… our legs get cut off above the ankles when we put on a skirt or robe with how things have been designed… they would have to rework hundreds if not thousands of armor texture maps to change how skirts function… though in all honesty… they really should do it anyways…
They wouldn’t have to change much. It just means dresses would have to be 2 parts chest and leg pieces or they’d have to make it a chest piece like how the faerie dragon tunic works.
I think they just don’t do it as an aesthetic choice and I’d like to see that change.
