Pineapple on pizza?

Or…pizza on pineapple?

Although I do draw the line at deep dish pizza that’s not pizza, it’s just bread with topping on it.

Why not there are other fruits that go on pizza regularly .

Sauce is made of tomatoes (a fruit)
People put peppers and olives on pizza (also fruits)

So why is pineapple the line in the sand where people say they wouldn’t put fruit on pizza ?

I think a lot more people like it…they’re just afraid to come out of the pineapple pizza closet.

Spinach is a good topping if you change out the base to literally anything except the tomato-based sauce. Artichokes hearts also make a good topping. I’m not against those toppings but I feel like vegan cheese would be a must with them to make it work and I honestly don’t like the taste of cheese in any form. If I were making it for someone else, I’d 100% include them, I suppose.

You can make awesome vegan pesto, garlic, and other sauces, though, and I like mixing various veggies with those instead on pizza. But don’t use carrots. Little too sweet and you might as well use fruit. xD

Because not all fruits are created equal. Tomato is a nice flavor for the pizza. Arguably the most important part of the pizza imo, replacing it with a citricy sweet fruit is bleh disgusting. It’s like the people who only have taste for sweets like this kind of thing. An unrefined tastebud.

Nah dude, get pineapple rings, put a piece of ham on them, then put the sauce and cheese. After slice them up and eat it on olive oil and garlic rubbed toasted flat bread.

Sure, pineapple on pizza is a crime but I’m not sure it’s a crime worthy of prison.

That you, when I eat all the Taurens I will eat you last.

I would argue it’s a pizza casserole sand the only way to eat pizza.

Have you tried a bacon cheeseburger pizza? I was hesitant, but my friend convinced me and it was so good. Now all bets are off, and I will try any pizza as long as it is not seafood. Cheeseburger pizza, ceaser salad pizza, BLT pizza, spaghetti pizza, taco pizza, BBQ chicken, ect. I feel sorry for people who haven’t ventured out to try these.
