Pimp my mount

With the Dragonflight Expansion, we get customizable mounts with the dragons. It’s a great feature but it could still be better if we could expand this feature to other mounts.

Please keep in mind these mounts are new mounts to be customized, they won’t erase the old ones. You could still use the old one if you want.

Here what I have in my mind:

We could expend this feature to some mounts with a HD model, one per main race.

We will get a customizable mount and you can be it to vendors in the capital city.

All these mounts can be used by all your characters as long as they are in the same faction of the mount.

You can purchase new customizations at reputation vendors, old dungeons, old raids, rare mobs.

Here are the 15 mounts:

• Human: Horse

• Dwarf: Ram

• Gnome: Mechanostrider

• Night Elf: Saber cat

• Draenei: Elekk

• Worgen: Horse

• Flying mount: Gryphon

• Orc: Wolf

• Troll: Raptor

• Tauren: Kodo

• Undead: Skeletal Horse

• Blood Elf: Hawkstrider

• Goblins: Trike

• Flying mount: Wind Rider

• Neutral flying mount: Hippogryph

We will take the horse as example.

Human: Horse => You can customize many things:

• The skin color: Dark, Grey, Dark Brown, Light Brown, White, etc

• You can choose the form of its crest

• You can choose the size of its tail: short, medium, long, long with ribbons on it

• The color of its eyes

• Must it wear an saddle, an armor or anything on it?

• You can choose the saddle form

• You choose the color of the saddle or of the armor: Blue, Green, Red, Purple, Orange, Dark, etc

• You can choose if it must hold a banner or not (all banner races are described underneath)

All banner available for the mount of each race (when you choose to hold a banner on your mount you can choose one of these banner depending of the mount you want to customize):

• Human

• Dwarf

• Gnome

• Night Elf

• Draenei

• Worgen

• Orc

• Troll

• Tauren

• Undead

• Blood Elf

• Goblins

There is a lot of things they can incorporate from Dragonriding concept into many of the old mounts that would breath some new life into them. But this being Blizzard, we will probably never see it. If its not Mythic + or Raid mechanic to please the players that do that. They seem to not care about anything else that might strike an interest in other players.

Oh my gosh what a fantastic idea!!!

I adore this one. It could be so much fun to unlock special customizations for them too. Even have little things in the trading post for them.
