Unable to complete Pilgrim’s Peril – sitting at the table in Undercity does not register.

Happening for me too, I’ve tried every table in the area and I’m not getting credit.
I’ve tried taking everything but the pilgrim’s dress on and I still am not getting credit.

I just found the workaround. Go to Brill at the cemetery, and it will count.

Undercity tables despawn as you enter the courtyard on Westfall WOTLK Classic server. If I race in with rocket boots to click a chair before it despawns, it doesn’t allow me to sit.
This workaround did not work for me on Westfall server

might be worth checking if Brill is an option for you.
Same issue for me in Wrath Classic when trying to complete Pilgrim’s Peril achievement. Went ahead and got the food buff x5 from each chair to get The Spirit of Sharing buff just to be sure, but nothing registered.
tables not even showing up in Undercity and now Ogrimmar also.
Same , and it’s just under city , have tried for three days now . Sad , another year of not completing this one 
I can’t seem to find any tables around Undercity and the immediate surroundings. I’m not sure if it’s related to the plagued version of the city or not from SL but… I wish I knew what to do.
becuase you’re phased. Complete the battle for undercity and unphase. Thunderbluff seems to be bugged
