Sure give me a minute.
oh so u are buhdee
ladies and gentlemen, we got him.
Guy who never makes videos of people cheating a 1 in 100 video of somebody likely botting and playing weird plus historic achievements. Makes a video that gets 50k views when he earns likely 50k USD a month and you think he is making a fake video for money hahahaha
Itâs Reddit but who cares. Kinda touches on a lot of what I said and it gives you an idea of how it works.
I know itâs not an apa source but that really should be enough.
Also Iâm not a YouTuber or an expert on the subject. I just know someone personally irl who makes like 100k a year from YouTube. Heâs always showing me his charts and complaining about the algorithm.
as you can see by this thread not a lot of people are capable of critical thought. they are very susceptible to crazy thumbnails and sensational video titles. it fosters a visceral reaction within them.
turns out you can convince some people of anything so long as an energetic spokesperson with wacky facial expressions says it. the mental gymnastics needed just because people dont want to accept their favorite streamer got outplayed lol.
You will see that including two mid-roll ads in your 10 minute+ video will more than double your CPM to mouth-watering levels (400$ for less than 200,000 views!?). Now this is great and all but I like to think that I have some integrity and making videos shouldnât exclusively be about making money.
Wow 400 dollars, thats like so much to a millionaire. These guys dont make there own youtube videos they get people to take a video of the stream and post clips. You are crazy if you ignored all the botting accusation and just go right to âits all fake because streamer bad and streamer only want moneyâ. 400 bucks is nothing to these guys and youtube is just a way to market the stream.
Go look up how botting works in wow if you think this is not a thing. Its not big anymore because nobody plays but back in MOP so many people botted it sucked. Not just Kick bot but cloak bot, Blind bot etc.
Bots right now in arena basically can do your perfect rotation if you set it up to do that as well as do all the CC for you and all you have to do is the movement. It also does the movement if you want. Literally jsut youtube for it.
Fairly sure it works like this

Different categories are paid at different rates. Gaming for example has a different pay out per 1000 views versus like Finance. Below is a reddit thread w/people who use Youtube to make a living. Sure they could be lying, doubtful though.

Reddit isnât the greatest place, so lets go to another spot detailing the above as well, Business Insider
https://www.businessinsider.com/how-much-do-youtubers-make
Response: âBetween $1.61 & $29.30â, which lines up with the reddit thread.
- As a third source, lets use Dexerto, as they tend to deal w/tech and gaming articles routinely. So their info should be reasonable.
https://www.dexerto.com/entertainment/how-many-youtube-views-you-need-to-make-money-2148014/
Conclusion seems to be:
-
Payout is between $1.50 â $30 per 1000 views. This would mean that pika would get at the minimum $1.50 x 50, or $72.50 for 50k views and at the maximum that we know of, $1500 for 50k views.
-
We know Pika has 135k subscribers on YouTube, so by no means is he a massive channel. Heâs also putting out gaming content, which is known to be on the lower end (above links show this). So he probably lands on the lower end of the range in general, low subs (more than anyone i know, but in general), and in a category that doesnât pay heavy.
Feel free to roast me or rage at me
The irs is a poweful entity, yet i dont hide
Itâs something and I appreciate the link but donât assume it should enough just yet
The section on money doesnât really support your argument that he made a crazy amount on that video
10 minute video with 2 mid roll ads nets 400 bucks in less than 200k views
Pikaâs vid is at 48k with no mid rolls from what I can tell at 13 minutes
Even if we assume the 3 minutes matter (doesnât appear to based on the screenshot in the Reddit post) then heâs maybe made 50-100 bucks on the video so far?
That kinda supports his argument that he clearly didnât care to do this for money, no?
Iâm not sure if its genre that defines how much they earn per 1k views.
Maybe youâre right. Iâm not an expert.
Wish Muffles was here so we could ask him what he got in wod for all those perfect pvp videos he made. legit only thing that made wod good
bro i gave you 3 articles that say its genre dependent are u kidding, i wanna like u man but damn
Calm down buddy Iâll read them.
so you just reply without reading things, yeah Notorious bring back the trash can meme
they got birds everywhere, nowhere to hideâŠ
Yes.
ay yo pause
reeee cant quote it
I think even if you have a million dollars, $500 can still be a lot. Thatâs a lot of food or an airplane ticket or part of rent or money to gift your mom.
But anyways, making these videos brings in eyes, which brings in money, and this is honestly a problem imo when the videos are callouts like these.
