is it just me or is there a severe lack of pick pocketing this expansion as a rogue its one of my favorite things to do

Unfortunately pickpocketing doesn’t benefit M+ or Raiding so Blizzard would rather you forget it is a thing.

i have “/em picks your pocket for 1g” macro’d with my backstab, just to mess with people in bg’s
that’s the most exciting pickpocket’s been for the last decade

I gave up at some point years ago. I hope I’m not about to see a list of things Ive missed out on.
I kind of wish this was never a thing and you didn’t miss it? Really…
Pick pocket has been here forever and as a rogue player since classic it is one of the best things around and is normally the best way to farm lockboxes and other useful things in midnight every mob except for like 3 all say they have no pockets understandable on a few mobs but 99% of an expansion just feels bad

I like finding locked chests, I have seen zero while on my rogue or any other class.

Rogues always been a issue for Game devs and even Dungeon masters for longtime.
I remember some D&D comic of a party adventurer’s at high noon in a desert and the thief is successful in hide in shadows!

Yeah. It’s because rogues are evidently discontinued.
I saw a video about how people rarely play rogue. Maybe Blizzard decided not to spend any fun points on something people rarely play. IDK, I’d personally add rare mounts to pickpocketing and then EVERYONE would play rogue. It would be awesome.

I’d like to see a separate profession or skill line for thievery with container looting and lock picking similar to that in ESO. It’s great overland content and really fun.

Pickpocketing is doing better than Archaeology, but just barely.
Anyone know how many xpacs it’s been since pp-only lockboxes had pp-lockbox-only loot? Probably a whole lot.

Far too many enemies have no pockets to pick and getting 7 silver is not worth pickpocketing. Out of maybe a hundred enemies, i got 1 lockbox. It honestly just feels incredibly lame, it used to be a lot of fun
