One of my pickpocket farming spots is the BRD loop. I can do this as combat spec and I’ll usually only get resisted once every 2-3 runs.
Today, I went to the farm spot and got resisted with the first group of mobs. Thought that was strange, but continued on. Got to arena and got resisted again. This carried on throughout the entire run. It’s been like this all night. Has anyone else noticed a change?
I know i’ll now have to spec accordingly for farming with is fine, but I’d like some info on this for some peace of mind.
Just bad RNG. I was getting resisted every couple mobs several days ago and the last 2 days I can go through Area->grim guzzler with 1 resist.
If this continues it points to being yet another stealth nerf to gold. Given how rng works, though, it’s normal to have completely different results on different days.
nah its a spell so it has the same resist chance as all spells, just easy to get unlucky every so often. I’ve had mara runs where my doom on both rotgrip and princess are resisted, 1% is 1% 
I bought my mount the sunday, and 80% of that gold come from the pockets of those filthy dwarfs. Its random I have full runs without resist and other times I got resist like 3 times in a minute.
As others have pointed out, it’s RNG. I’ve done BRD runs that I get resisted 1 of every 10 attempts. Sometimes back to back resists. I’ve also had runs where I’ve made the “loop” 3 times without even 1 resist…and everything in between. Combat spec makes BRD runs a lot tougher (i’ve done it quite a bit as both specs)
Thanks for the replies. This has been my farming spot since September and I haven’t experienced such bad RNG and I’m in BRD farming at least 3 times a week.
