Pickpocket question

So i never really played much rouge. But I always thought pickpocket was a pretty neat ability.
My question is and something ive always wondered, is it worth even using and if so what are some of the rarest or most usefull items that you can get from pickpocket?

You can still do the Warlords of Draenor and Legion pickpocket weeklies. WOD gives about 1900g and Legion gives 1600g. The Legion one takes only a few minutes. WOD one can take like 10mins. In either case, if you compare it to the dragonriding world quests which give 500g, the Legion one is definitely worth doing. WOD is, too. But, I just don’t really like doing it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh, the gold reward is on a level 70. I think there is a lower level where it’s actually higher. But, I haven’t really tested it. I can say at 60-70 it’s the same. 35 it’s lower.

Although a fair amount of targets in Shadowlands and Dragonflight don’t have pockets (boooo!), you can usually get some silver on eligible targets. Sometimes, esp, in older zones, you can get a lockbox, which you use you pick locks ability on, and sometimes there’s a piece of green loot or whatever. It is definitely something just for fun, and IMO, it is. Like, and this is bad, but steal thing up to trash on a road or dungeon to pick a pocket. You can also test sap while you’re at it. Sap also doesn’t work on too much, but again, it is fun.

just macro it to your opening attacks and occasionally you get stuff

in the past you used to get stuff from it like lockboxes, those survivor coins or the fencing loot stuff but now it just seems to be a legacy thing blizzard has mostly forgotten about

This right here will change your life…

No more needing to target to pick. Just hover, press, and go. (Make sure auto-loot is enabled.)

@Knocrogue, I guarantee this will knock minutes off your fastest pickpocket weeklies.
