Well my decision is either Druid or priest. I have played a Druid since I started at beginning of BC and idk if I should completely switch it up and try a new class or stay with what I know I enjoy. I’ll make an alt eventually though. Anyone else having problems deciding what class to play

I went back and forth with people telling me or saying which class is “optimal” or “viable” in classic. I ended up saying Im gonna be leveling this character for a long time, should choose something that I enjoy.
I mained holy then shadow (went shadow in aq40 but went back to holy for naxx) with a pvp warrior (rank 14) and a rogue for messing around. So it took me a while to decide what class I wanted to main for classic. I did lock and mage on private servers but always came back to warrior or rogue… They just click with me but war/rogue battle was not even funny, I was super torn lol.
What made me decide ultimately was that the time I have nowadays, the class needs to fit that, which is rogue. You can solo all sorts of things where as you cannot with a warrior lol. Gold farming is a JOKE as a rogue, way too many options.

Can’t go wrong with rogue tbh, there’s quite a few talent options, some less “optimal”, but very useful for solo play, like grabbing riposte, and improved stealth, whilst also taking combat talents. Or just going with stabby gank spec and taking cold blood and preparation.

I keep going back and forth between warlock and holy priest. I just can’t make my mind up.
I’ll be going holy paladin at end game since its the only seriously viable spec for paladin, maybe prot while leveling for tanking a dungeon here and there though

I’m having the same issue deciding between Mage and Shaman. On one hand Mage is going to be overplayed by a bunch of people, on the other hand Shaman is going to be hit by the hybrid tax (and I don’t plan on healing with Shaman) so I’m kind of at an impasse at the moment.

I would want to go Enh, but I’m sure the second I decided to start raiding and PvPing I’d be forced into Resto. I’m thinking I’ll probably just main Mage and use the Shaman as an alt to play with friends.
I’ve decided to main a Warlock. It’s a class I never had much appreciation for, but with this being the start of a new chapter to my WoW experience, I’d like to accept a new challenge. Look for Fizzwick the Gnome Warlock on Stalagg.

I do want to do something brand new like that. Priest would be it for me never played one and never in vanilla. Healing Ian my favorite but don’t enjoy paladin and can’t be shaman because rolling alliance so idkkk
