How much of a difference does picking the best race for each class/spec matter in random bgs’ and rated rbgs? does it make a huge difference or is the difference so litle that i can play whatever class and race i prefer?

For the average player it really doesn’t matter. Just pick whatever you think looks cool.

It’s hard to tell for raw throughput racials
But some can be hugely influential, like punting someone off a cliff with Haymaker.
Ultimately, just play what you like 
Haymaker is awesome but still has a big Cd
everyone should pick a class based on tmogs available coupled with a witty/ironic name

For 99% of players it makes 0 difference.

when ppl say it makes no difference, they’re mainly speaking from the context of “does racial choice significantly impact my success” which they’re correct on, doesn’t matter for most players
however some racials are just more fun than others, if a different race (not tauren, worgen, troll or vulpera) had velf racials you would probably not see me on this creature

Every class has a spec that’s A/S tier so u can play whatever.

I want to say optimizing your build/character is more important than selection.
Personally I choose whatever 1v1’s best since you can painfully slowly, earn conquest outside of sweaty rated modes which have full purple geared players at 0 rating.
Shadowmeld is by far the greatest racial ability….but…far from being the greatest race. That title belongs to the blood elf’s. they obviously gave us the weakest racial, in fact it’s so weak and I don’t even know what it does and I been a blood elf since bc, but that’s because belfs are so powerful and awesome we don’t even need a racial.
All other races, especially elves, are terrible. Played by terrible people with no souls. It’s hard to hear but the truth must be spoken!

In higher rated content it does make a difference, thus why most who PvP went Alliance and are playing Night Elf.
Personally, I love the look of Draenei and Orc so I always roll those races. Oh and Tauren are cool as well.

Race is only relevant if you’re playing in the AWC. Even if you’re trying to touch the top of the ladder, the race you play isn’t going to be significant. You can do anything as any race, what is most important is that you look as cool as possible while you’re playing.

There isn’t a better race for a healer in the game for bgs. It’s not even remotely close
If you don’t think nelf is completely broken in bgs (ESPECIALLY ON A HEALER.) You don’t bg.

Actually, haymaker on the right class and on the right map can flat out win some BGs.

It’s the best for straight open field fights, but for maps with objectives and any z-axis, haymaker is best.

don’t play blood elf, everything else is fine… if you wanna play blood elf, you have to play classic to be useful in pvp…
If they buffed arcane torrent to remove ALL magical effects in an aoe then it would be pretty good, or if they made it interrupt but activate pre cog if you tried to blanket silence then it would be fine in pvp.
