I’m wanting to do a feral Druid or enhancement shaman once I get to 51 I plan on doing bg pvp till I get to 60 then continuing till I get the pvp gear. Also I’m starting from low gold, because I’m wanting to try the horde side of things. Because Once I unlocked all the allied races I stopped. Anyhow advice is welcome.
If pvp is the focus, Feral
If pve probably Shaman right now just because Ferals aoe is still poor
Feral in PvE is…well, bad.
When it comes to raiding, Enha is C tier (the worst) & Feral is B-Tier.
When it comes to M+
Feral & Enha are the bottom 2

But, Resto sham is one of the most desired healers in M+ scene.
Boomkin (Venthyr) is only of the most desired DPS in M+ scene.
Bear is one of the most desired tanks in M+ scene.
I don’t know if you plan on PvP at 60, nor would I be able to help you, as I stopped PvP’ing awhile ago.
Yeah, I wouldn’t do that with Enhance Shaman. If you want to PvP I would go Druid for that.
Enhance Shaman is fun to play and does decent in dungeons and raids, but there are much better picks for both of those things.
Play Enhance because you love it, not because it does S-Tier damage (because it doesn’t). It’s not there yet.
Allow me to introduce a tertiary option… DKs
So why DK?
Simple really. We have a close knit lore friendly community in the Ebon Blade, similar to Moonglade or the Earthen Ring.
We uhhhh also invoke the power of nature by using… drumroll blood, cold weather, and diseases!
And uhhhhh we also deal a LOT with spirits and ancestors.
And uhhhhhh we also have a spirit-form movement ability
And finally uhhhhhhhhhhh we can er uhhhhhh we… well ermm… Bolvar-- no no… uhhh OH!
Death and Life are two sides of the same coin, and should be experienced togethor… ;;;;;;DDDDD
(Druid.)
If you enjoy being an animal, go druid.
If you don’t want to look like an animal go shaman.
If you like lightning strikes, go shaman.
If you like easy tagging of world stuff others are fighting go boomkin.
If you like gathering go druid.
There are other things to consider besides best in pvp damage.
If pvp damage is your only goal, don’t listen to me. My druid is only 51 and my shaman is 60, but only about 205 ilvl, so I’m not you cat.
Druid. Stealth can make you useful even during your weak and undergeared phases.
Enhancement shaman is going to be fun coming 9.2 due to the tier set bonus
It’s set to be where you can have an army of spirit wolves with the procs to give
At the end of the day it doesn’t matter If your class isn’t S tier, as long as you’re not doing world first Meta chasers people will still take you
Neither of those lol.
Druid at least gives you access to 3 other way superior specs once you realize what a mistake feral is.
Rank 7 in the 3v3 ladder
3k rated enhancement shaman
You sure?
Yep. Highly doubt the OP has anywhere near that amount of skill and determination. Feral is also literally the most convoluted and difficult spec to play in a PvE environment and enhance shaman isn’t too far behind them…and all for middling rewards. It is a huge fallacy to assume anyone actually legit questions is automatically some top tier 1% player also
At least a druid will give him far better specs to transition to if/when he finds out he can’t cut it as a kitty (PvP or PvE).
OP is most likely not going to be a top of the ladder gladiator
Maybe he’s alright with casual PvP it literally doesn’t matter at the end of the day what two specs he picked will be
Right but my point still stands that should he try and crash and burn (the predictable outcome), he at least, with druid, has 3 other specs that, at least in a PvE setting, are absolutely amazing even up to fairly high tryhard levels of play.
But I don’t know why this is even a discussion. He can always make trial toons and fool around with them enough to get the look and feel for.
