Does anyone have any suggestions on picking a main? I am what you would call “casual”. I probably have 6 60’s and a bunch of 55+ (both sides of the fence and a variety of different specs / class). Seeing that we can get up to 233 gear solo, its probably best to focus on one char if I ever want to do some normal raiding or mythic + in the future.
How did you all decide? I have played since 2005 so obviously I know the game. Having Character ADHD stinks haha.
If I were picking a main in this environment, druid is the only thing Id play.
Blizzard wants to waste my travel time so stealth is a necessity.
Druid has all the mobility, Engineering makes it even better.
If you already have druid, Id say stick with that, personally
I like shamans personally. I wish I was better at Druid heals, because I’d love to play that class more, but the additional survivability of mail armor and a shield is hard to pass up.
Ive only toyed with feral a bit, honestly.
I only really resto with a balance swap if Im running a dungeon.
someone else may have to help you with feral
I run resto in solo content because the thing is nearly unkillable.
With some help harm macros you can do good DPS and heal yourself (and even others in world content) like a pro.
Resto seems to crank out half decent DPS for a healing spec
Ive really tried to feel the love for guardian a few times, but meh. Just cant get into it for some reason. Even feral bores me to sleep. Not enough buttons, maybe?
Quite honestly, just play around with your characters a bit. I got most classes to 60 and did mythics. Just by playing I sort of found myself gravitating to a certain few classes. I eventually settled on Mistweaver monk, Elemental shaman and Protection warrior. There will be classes you click with and ones you won’t. The ones you feel most comfortable with are the ones you can eventually main and be successful with.
