I’m wanting to roll a horde dk and can’t decide between orc or zandalari troll. I plan on mainly being unholy and blood when needed. Once I reach 70 I plan to do raids and random bg. I need opinions on what to pick.
Orcs look amazing in the spike/skull/chains themes of Death Knight tier armor.

I quite like forsaken for death knights. It’s the closest you can get to a WC2 death knight, given that they are reanimated human corpses. Albeit without orc souls.

I’m rolling a orc DK, levelled to lvl 10, 60 days later Gear Change into Org so everyone can hate on me.

I find that Orcs look the best in Plate armor so that’s probably your best bet.
Zandalari all the way, you can pick your passive racial bonus with Embrace of the Loa, and you get a little extra scratch with City of Gold(2% might not seem like much, but it adds up).
Bonus: We look good in most mogs cause our body proportions have a nice balance.
Blood elf is always the right answer.

Zandi Troll dedicated to Bwonsamdi is the only way.
I would argue one point against trolls. No shoes! I absolutely HATE the fact that some races don’t have some sort of foot covering! Even if it’s just changing the color of the foot to match the boots, that’s fine with me! Just do something better than bare feet!

Ztrolls look cool, but their animations and voice lines are terrible, imo. And covering yourself in heavy armor but leaving your feet exposed just looks weird. I would second Forsaken dk for aesthetics. Orc is good too, tho.
Psh, does the tiger wear shoes? Does the bear? Not even the eagle wears shoes.
The horse wears shoes, to signify it’s subservience to sapiens. Sapiens wear shoes to signify their subservience to other Sapiens. Take off those shoes, for they are a symbol of subjugation!
No shoes means my toes get cold. It also means I can’t make a Troll Rogue, because you’d be able to see their feet while the rest of their bodies are hidden. Plus, the cops will collect my toe-prints from questionable jobs I got paid for and might link me to certain assassinations. Hypothetically speaking, of course…

Orcs are the OG dks so go orc.
Vulpera is the correct choice for blood if you grind m+, nose for trouble is incredible for blood dk in m+. It’s a ton of mitigation when you need it most, the first 2-3 globals of a pull.
Visually, z troll looks the best proportioned in armor. They look very cool in some dk tier sets. Regular troll is basically a banana for a spine.
Orca are probably the best for unholy. The racial is strong. Some of the shoulders look redic but are imposing I guess lol.
