Physical DPS is already replacing Don Julio's band ... yet Don Rodrigo's band is still not available

You had an opportunity to remedy a mistake in vanilla and instead you opted to repeat it.

What the hell is the point of withholding this ring for so long that it’s obsolete by the time anyone can purchase it? Every single other vendor item is being specifically released when they are on par with raid content… except this one ring?

Dont even bother releasing it. Just delete it from the game. By then, nobody will care.

Spell pen stat came out with AQ patch and so did ring. It was like that on pservers as well.

Spell pen stat came out day 1 of classic … with upgraded PvP gear, and updated Tier 1, and updated mage talents … which they didn’t seem to have a problem with.

Upgraded Rank 14 weapons were added AFTER this ring was added, yet we have those.

Talents giving some classes massive amounts of resistance were added after AV was released, hence the ring. Those talents exist, the ring doesnt.

The ‘how it was in vanilla’ excuse is dead.

Yeah 20 magic resist reduction is 10% more damage

Curse of agony does like 2300 damage so 10% more is an extra 230 damage / 230 extra “spell power”

Not sure why I have 100 in my head tho O_o. Maybe it’s 5% more damage not 10%

In PvE there are currently two bosses that have shadow resist; lucifron and gehennas … and i’m pretty sure this ring wont be breaking such laughable encounters.

I looked up the Mage T1 set and you get 27 shadow resistance, add in 5 MR enchant for cloak and 5 MR argent dawn shoulder enchant that’s 37 shadow resistance that most people could have right now :stuck_out_tongue:

Shadowbolt does 800 dmg non-crit, 5% of that is 40 damage. 0.87% spell power modifer is 46 “spell power” :smiley:
