I was questing my Horde alt through Vol’dun and watched with keen interest as she experienced the Temple of Akunda story. There were several intriguing elements throughout that saga that bring to mind this question:
If it were possible, would you willingly erase your sad, painful or otherwise traumatic memories? And why or why not?
No, because then I wouldn't be me. Without some of my more traumatic experiences, I can safely say I would be a much more terrible person.

You don't just erase the bad, the good goes with it too. Some of the most grounded, friendly and chill people I've known have been those with some pretty devastating events in their lives. No I would prefer to keep my life lessons with me. The absence of these in our lives can make us shallow, petty and dogmatic over things we don't understand.
Be careful, a certain Light implement had a similar train of thought, didn't get her far!
