Xbox series X/S to be playable for WoW happening?
Is game pass 10 dollars a month and if so will I get a discount if I still play WoW? This is my favorite game. Ty. Rita
More like $15 cause with game pass ultimate you get more for PC and console

i do recall them saying they wanna expand their games to more consoles etc. And WoW is definitely doable. i already play 2 other MMO’s on console n they run quite beautifully on there

WoW isn’t doable right now with 20-30 keybinds for many classes. They’d need to simplify the rotations quite a lot.

Controllers have upwards of 40 inputs. This outdated 2005 notion that Controllers don’t have enough Buttons for MMOs needs to die. It hasn’t been true since the PS3 console generation.
You can literally play WoW on a controller right now. Controller support is built into the game, as is Action Targeting.

I playing wow with a controller with the console port addon as even FFXIX rotation bloat laughs at 20 skills. The top four triggers/buttons acts just like shift and it all about holding one or more down with a face button. It only need more UI tweaks to make it easier like bags and quests for console only players.
Not really buton combos.
Both PS and XBox have a similar lay out except for how the thumb sticks are positionen
So both have 14 buttons individually that can be bound . Now take the 
and add any of the remaining 13 buttons to any direction that adds another 50 plus abilities to be bound. THat’s just an example .
Problem is people think small and only focus on the buttons they see and not about how they can be combined
FFXIV allows for a ton of keybinds, 48 total iirc. Using L2/R2 + d pad and L2/R2 square triangle x circle, along with a fast switch button to bring up 2 other keybind boards just like that initial one.

Controller play in ff14 really isn’t bad at all. I use the bumpers to select a bar and hold both bumpers for a 3rd bar.
Once you select the bar you want, your abilities are then pressed with the d pad and A,B,X,Y or w/e you map.
The only real downside is the camera control can be wonky…
Yep. FF XIV proved that any MMORPG can be built for PC and console play.
You know what, I don’t own a Console, but if it will force Blizzard to do away with button Bloat, and hopefully even system bloat (admittedly less likely), then I am for it.
I also hope it would force them to trim raid and dungeon mechanics to make them console friendly to pull off.
It will make WoW more stream lined, and bring in more players so yeah, do it.
I play FFXIV with a controller and it’s awesome. I’d love to be able to play WoW with a similar set up.

It’s really not bad at all. The only time I have problems is when I want to manually move the camera to see incoming mechanics.
Also, you can litterally plug a keyboard into some consoles if you prefer, no?

Good. I actually hope they merge the WOW sub into the Game Pass. Get both WOW and an impressive library of games for a single sub fee? Count me in.
Jobs in FFXIV have as many, if not more, buttons than Classes in WOW and players can play it just fine with a Playstation controller.
